The Western Han Dynasty "guliang Learn

This article had studied the history of Chunqiu(《春秋》) in the West Han dynasty by Mr. Zhu Weizheng's theory, which is said that "Scholarship" is developed by "the Ruler's method". (学随术变) We had find that the choice of "the Ruler's method" to "Scholarship" is main reason of Chunqiu's development in the West Han dynasty.Firstly this article had studied the development of Gongyangzhuan(《公羊传》) and Guliangzhuan(《谷梁传》) in the first period. Then we find many important thought of Gongyangzhuan, which is very important to the scholar of Gongyangzhuan in later ages, had already be used in people's talk extensively. This is very important to Gongyangzhuan's development in the later year. Though Guliangzhuan's influence was smaller than Gongyangzhuan, Guliangzhuan propagated continuously. We had find that the Gongyangzhuan's scholars were seasoned with Hanwudi's (汉武帝) method. Then this article had studied Dong Zhongshu(董仲舒) who said "Chunqiu has not accurate interpretation" and Gongsun hong(公孙弘) who was the prime minister. This article had analysed Guliangzhuan's status in Hanwudi's period. This article had also proved that the reason why Hanwudi choose Gongyangzhuan is because of Gongyangzhuan's scholarship was suit for his gubernatorial method. When the scholarship becomes conflict with the ruler's method, the ruler's method began to choose another scholarship. This is the reason for Hanxuandi'a (汉宣帝) Shiquge meeting (石渠阁会议). One of the important result of the meeting was Guliangzhuan had been choosed for Taixue(太学). Because Guliangzhuan's scholarship is more suit for Hanxuandi's gubernatorial method. Though Hanxuandi triumphantly chose Guliangzhuan as one of subjects in Taixue, the Guliangzhuan's scholarship had not replace Gongyangzhuan's scholarship. In order to analyze the reason we had studied the different between Gongyangzuan's scholarship and Guliangzhuan's scholarship. We had also disproved some extreme point of view. But the conflict between the Scholarship and the Ruler's method had not become catabatic after the Shiquge meeting. This phase impel Hanaidi(汉哀帝) to applaud Liu Xin (刘歆) to advocate Zuozhuan. The reason for their action was similar to Hanxuandi. Their action means another choice to the scholarship by the ruler's method. This article had also studied Hanaidi and the relation between Liu Xin and Wang Mang. (王莾)This article had find that the ruler's method is the active factor in the inconsistency between the scholarship and the ruler's method in the middle ages. The ruler's method's choice to scholarship is the important reason for Chunqiu's movement on the West Han dynasty.
