In this article, I would like to study the relaions between the art and public in the eighteenth century in France, which have important influence on the status of artist and the development of art. The art theory, art exhibition and art politics will be involved in the study of art public sphere.With the emerging of art exhibition and the culture of print, the public began to be involved in the action of art. In eighteenth century, the transition of art public sphere in Franc represented the changing of the Europe art. The public could get in touch with the works in the Salon exhibition in Paris, and had a conversation about art freely. According to these, the arguments on the right of public judgement and the taste of art began, and the modern art criticism appeared.
