The Study On Policy Towards The Middle Forces Between The Communist Party Of China And The Chinese Kuomintang During The Anti-Japanese War Period

In the evolution of Chinese modern political history,the CCP(Communist Party of China)and the KMT(Kuomintang) took the place that can not be substituted by other political and social forces.At the same time,the middle forces that can not be ignored on the Chinses political stage as the third force that drifted away from the KMT and the CCP played an important role.And The conflict and cooperation of the three forces constituted a rich picture of the modern political history,which became to the major force for promoting the development of the Chinese politics.The outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan and the interaction of the ethnic and class conflicts made the political situation become complicated,and the division and combination of the relationship of the KMT,the CCP and the middle forces become to one of the main factors that controlled the development of the politics.Guided by dialectical materialism and historical materialism,using the multi-disciplinary theory that in history, politics, sociology and so on,this thesis discusses and anslyses the policies towards middle forces of the KMT and the CCP in different historical period of the Anti-Japanese War,then analysies the differences between the two policies and the impact to the political situation.The specific content of the thesis is as follows:Introduction:By combing the previous writings,this part studies the academic value and social value of the topic,and defines some related concepts.Chapter I:This part studies the policies towards middle forces of the KMT and the CCP in the early days of the war of resistance.By analysing the exclusion policy of the CCP and the supression policy of the KMT,this part obtains the differences between the policies towards middle forces of the two parties during this period.Chapter II:This part studies the changes of the policies towards middle forces of the KMT and the CCP after the Northern China Incident. After the Incident,the CCP began to amend the middle forces theory,build the united front together with the middle forces,join together to force the Kuomintang government to resist Japan and so on.The Restriction that came from the KMT loosed:the opening of some opportunities to participate in politics, accommodating different parties together for saving the nation;the opening of anti-Japanese opinions,canceling some Restrictions on democracy;the suppression to the democratic activities of the lefe force.By studying such policies,this part compairs the differences between the two policies towards the middle forces of the KMT and the CCP at that time.Chapter III:By compairing the policies towards the middle forces of the two parties in the period of total resistance,this part studies the similarity between the starting point of the two parties'policies,the progress in the general direction of development of the two policies,and the big difference between the two policies which is the difference of the recognition of the status of the middle forces.This thesis believes that the CCP's policy towards the middle forces is to cooperate in good faith,but the KMT's is to take advantage of the middle forces.Chapter IV:By researching the policies towards the middle forces of the CCP and the KMT during the stalemate stage of the Anti-Japanese War,this part analyses the CCP's policies towards the middle forces such as the policy of joint participation in politics,in power together,helping the middle forces to be organized and so on,and the KMT's policies towards the middle forces such as tolerance policy,severe restriction policy and so on,then compairs the differences and similarities between the two parties'policies during this period.Chapter V:This part studies the policies towards the middle forces of the two parties,especially the differences of the two policies which are on the basis of assessing the destiny's future of their own on the eve of victory of Anti-Japanese War,just like the policy of the CCP of strengthening the united front,jiont nation-making and the policy of the KMT of restriction and striving for.Then this part compairs the differences of the two policies which are the differernces in the political oriention of the two future and destiny and in the ways of uniting actively and being forced to fight for.Chapter VI:This part analyses and evaluates the policies towards the middle forces of the CCP and the KMT in the Anti-Japanese War globally,and obtains the historical inspiration for today.Conclusion:This part analyses the evolution and the advantages and disadvantages of the two parties'policies towards the middle forces during the whole Anti-Japanese War,and obtains the conclusion of the thesis.
