In this paper,Research on Psychological Competency is conducted based on thefive critical occupational spectrums which make the most differences to the safety ofPower Grid.Taking a great number of relevant literatures as references,the authorfirstly raises a preliminary hypothesis of four dimensions that impact safetyperformance of the critical occupational spectrums,which are composed of cognitionand operation,personality traits,mental health and stress coping.Secondly,tests andempirical work are done to samples using corresponding mature measures andequipment.In details,daily safety performance is used to distinguish high safetysamples to low ones.Tests as 16PF,SCL-90,stress coping as well as cognition andoperation are carried out on the two groups.After that,statistics,analysis andexaminations are made on the results,invalid factors are removed from thepreliminary hypothesis and those key factors that have essential and effective impacton safety performance are screened out,which can form a Psychological CompetencyModel.Thirdly,on the basis of Psychological Competency Model,online test toolsare developed as current assessment measures are integrated so that onlinepsychological test on practitioners can be brought into reality,while its' validity andreliability are proved through empirical analysis.Then valid and effective means andevidences can be provided for pre-job selection and on-job psychological intervention.Finally,the essay sums up psychological criterions for selecting staff capable to takeposts of critical occupational spectrums.As for the psychological weak spots,theauthor makes remarkable suggestions and measures.Based on all the discussionsabove,Research on Psychological Competency of the critical occupational spectrumswhich make the most differences to the safety of Power Grid opens up a new thought,a new method and means for the safety management of Power Grid company,whichtruly embody the forwarding of safety lines and the concept of anticipating control insafety management.
