Vietnamese Chinese Fu Chinese Fu Reference, Instead Of Creating

Like China, Vietnam is a country of poetry. In Vietnamese literature, the top position belongs to poems, and Fu takes the second. Vietnamese Sino Fu is an indispensable component of the Vietnamese literature. With 1000 years history of development, Vietnamese Sino Fu had born many authors, works, and had lots of huge achievements in two aspects, content and art. During its formation and development, in terms of both forms and content, Vietnamese Sino Fu had deeply influenced specifically by Fu in ancient Chinese literature and generally by Han culture.Due to many different reasons, a great deal of documents of Vietnamese Sino Fu has been lost or damaged, the number of retained documents today is not even as large as 0.01% of the original one, most of them are not intact. Thus, the first task of this dissertation is to collect and correct part of the remaining Vietnamese Sino Fu, and also to provide explanation for necessary parts. Next, the dissertation shows analysis based on existing documents.As a late born component of the literature, Vietnamese Sino Fu had been formed and developed on the basis of acquiring and learning from Chinese Fu. However, its value is not evaluated by how much it had borrowed, but by the creativity from those borrowed elements. In terms of forms, Vietnamese Sino Fu had acquired basic forms of Chinese Fu. In terms of artistic method, Vietnamese Sino Fu had acquired fundamental features of Fu such as descriptiveness, fictionality, and exaggeration, etc. In terms of content, Vietnamese Sino Fu had acquired traditional topics such as object description (description of things and phenomena), chronicles (traveling chronicles), romance (containing feelings), traditional content features such as praises and advices, and knowledge on Chinese history and culture. In parallel with borrowing, Vietnamese Fu had created nation-specific ways of expression that can express the feelings, thoughts and visions of scholars in each era. Vietnamese Fu had shown the creativity and nationality in the content. In that, the beauty of Vietnam, the diversity of Vietnamese custom and practice, traditional thoughts and unique thinking of the Vietnamese, patriotism and nationalism are worth considering. The dissertation takes two factors, the Vietnam-China cultural communication and the extensive influence of Han culture in Vietnam, as the premise for the formation and development of Vietnamese Sino Fu, analyzes the development of Vietnamese Fu through eras, and then analyzes the acquisition and creativity of Vietnamese Sino Fu on the basis of Chinese Fu.
