Influence Of Sino-Vietnamese Words On Chinese Vocabulary Acquisition Of Vietnamese Chinese Majors

Vietnam borders on China,through a long historical process,the economy,culture,history and other fields between the two countries have been affected by each other.In terms of language,Vietnamese has absorbed a large number of Chinese words because of its long-term contact with Chinese.These loanwords are called Sino-Vietnamese words in Vietnamese.Sino-Vietnamese words have many similarities with Chinese words in terms of word meaning,part of speech and usage.But in fact,Vietnamese students make no fewer mistakes in using Sino-Vietnamese words to learn Chinese than students in other countries due to various objective and subjective reasons.The research object of this paper is Vietnamese Chinese majors,trying to understand the errors produced by Chinese Majors in the process of using Sino-Vietnamese words to learn Chinese vocabulary,find out the reasons for Vietnamese students’ errors in using Sino-Vietnamese words to learn Chinese vocabulary,and put forward effective improvement plans.Through the investigation,this paper draws the following conclusions:1.Most students use Sino-Vietnamese words at least once and play a lot of roles in the process of learning Chinese.2.When students use Sino-Vietnamese words to learn Chinese vocabulary,the following six types of errors will occur: word meaning errors,grammatical errors(part of speech errors and word collocation errors),word color errors and oral usage errors.3.Students at different stages and levels have different error rates in using Sino-Vietnamese words to learn Chinese vocabulary.With the improvement of students’ Chinese level and the expansion of Chinese vocabulary,the difficulty and complexity of words are becoming higher and higher,and students’ errors,especially word meaning errors,are difficult to reduce.4.Students’ errors are caused by the following reasons: first,students are disturbed by their mother tongue;Second,students’ understanding of Sino-Vietnamese words is too shallow,and the method of using Sino-Vietnamese words is incorrect;Third,the teachers did not explain correctly and clearly to the students in the classroom,the school did not open a special class to cultivate Sino-Vietnamese words,and the teaching materials lacked Sino-Vietnamese words information,etc;Finally,the influence of the media.In the new era,the Internet is rapidly developed.A lot of knowledge can be learned from the Internet,but the accuracy is not guaranteed.It is hoped that this paper can help students reduce errors in the process of using Sino-Vietnamese words to learn Chinese vocabulary,and improve the quality of Chinese vocabulary teaching in Vietnamese universities with Chinese majors.
