Study On The Marxist Political Party's Ruling Idea

Be in power is the foundation of constructing the party and country. Chinese Communist Party (CCP) attaches importance to the construction on theory all the time. Hu Jintao expounded the party's governing capacity-building issues in the 100th birthday anniversary of Deng Xiaoping in 2004 comprehensively and systematically, from the seven aspects (also known as"seeking the ruling seven") such as the concept of governance, governance foundation, governance strategy, governance structure, governance pattern, governance resources and circumstance. He indicated that the concept of governance was the top ruling on party's governing capability building. As the Marxist political party, the Chinese Communist Party should study on the theoretical basis of Marxist political party and the evolution on the governing concept of socialist national party. Also, CCP should structure a scientific governing concept system with Chinese characteristics. These studies have the significant directive function on improving the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics.The historical materialism is the rationale on studying Marxism ruling concept in this paper. It uses the historical materialism as the methodology in order to break through the unilateral thinking limitations on experience and regulation. The metre of logic is the generally acknowledged truth that reflects the objective world and law exactly with the unification on logic and history, the theoretical study and empirical analyses. This paper combines the method of text interpretation and practical investigation in order to reveal the nature and context of Marxist party governing concept. Meanwhile, the paper not only adopts the method of multi-dimension analysis on connotation, characteristics and other basic theories of Marxist ruling concept, but also pays attention to analyse the governing practices in socialist states, and quotes a large number of governing references from Marx, Engels, Lenin, Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping. It is reasonable and practical, and realizes the combination of theory, practice and science. This is the characteristic of this thesis.Specifically, the Marxist party's governing concept is the new study point as the governance theory in this thesis. The full text is made up by six chapters. The first chapter is introduction. It analyses the times background of party power and governig concept, and summarizes the current studying situation on governing concept domestically and oversea. The second chapter generalizes the Marxist party's governing concept system for the first time based on the connotation of governing, governing party and governing concept. The third chapter underlines the value appeal on researching of Marxist party's governing concept, starting from the issue of evolution on historical materialism and Marxist ruling ideas, and the issue of political ideals. Chapter four concludes and collates the Marxist ruling ideas in socialist states comprehensively and systematically, clearly clarifies the development context on it, and finally summarizes the experiences. In chapter five, I construct the practical governing concept system with Chinese characteristics based on the evolution and sublimation of Marxist party's governing concept in China. The sixth chapter scientifically outlook the future on Marxist philosophy. It proposes to insist the core values, maintain the basic stance of concpet, takes and uphold the application of philosophy, in order to realize the combination of times development and Chinese governing practice.In summary, centred on the theme of Marxist party's governing conpcept, this paper systematically and deeply deliberated its historical context from six aspects—the connotation of theory, philosopgical basis, the international communist movement, historical exploration, the Chinese practice and development. I hope these studies could be the enlightenment for the Chinese governance and other countries'scientific governance.
