Chinese Trade Union Interests In The Process Of Reform And Opening Up Integration - Expression Studies

With the further development of reform and opening up, the pattern of interests of our society has experienced reasonable dividing to obviously imbalance, especially workers and rural migrant workers have become one of the most severely damaged groups in this process of the changes in pattern of interests. It is also one of the important reasons of the current imbalance in China's labor relations and increasing conflict of interest. At present the key point in the process of the adjustment of interest pattern is to establish and improve relevant expression mechanisms to resolve the serious interests-coordination crisis. Therefore, strengthening the study of the integration-expression of interests of trade unions, and promoting the transformation of functions of trade union can truly make the trade unions become an organization that expresses and realizes its interest on behalf of workers and rural migrant workers. It is not only the major content which contributes to form the effective coordination mechanism, but also an effective way to solve society contradiction and conflict, and improve social harmony.Based on relevant social hierarchical theory,theory of social conflict,political development and knowledge of labor relations, this paper analyzes the history of interest integration-expression in China's trade unions,current situation,patterns,the basic content and its problems and changes in the working class in China as well as the changes of Chinese working class and the function transformation of China's trade union from the perspective of interest relation, then puts forward a suggestion of functional reconstruction of the system framework of China's trade union and the basic idea of path design.The paper contains three parts:introduction,main body and conclusion.In introduction, it analyzes the origins of the problem and significance through the analysis of the living conditions of the working class and its changes,the pattern of imbalance in the performance of social interests and the construction state of the coordination mechanism of interests as the main clue since the reform and opening up. It also reviews and comments on the research achievements about the problem of china trade union at home and abroad, then further defines the basic issues of this study under a broad academic background and scholarly heritage. Finally, it points out the possible innovation and the deficiency from the view of studying perspective,content and other aspects.The main part is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is about the basic theory of interest integration-expression of trade union. This chapter discusses the theory of interest integration-expression of trade union by Marx and Engels, and as guidance of the above, the author defines and analyzes the concept and characteristics of interest integration-expression of trade union on the basis of the analysis of connotation and feature of the interest integration-expression.The second chapter reveals the diversified existence patterns of the Chinese working groups and their needs of interest integration-expression of trade union. In social transitional period, the Chinese working class is also experiencing the process of constant splits and recombination, which is mainly manifested in the existence of diverse workers, intensified conflict of interest among workers and the marginalization of some groups of workers,the passive expression way of the interests of workers, non-organized and non-legalized. To maintain the working class interest in the process of social transition, it needs to strengthen the function of interest integration-expression of trade union.The third chapter analyzes the current state and existing problems of interest integration-expression of the modern trade union in china. On the basis of the development and current role of China's trade union, this chapter provides an obvious change of political orientation in the development of china trade union. Since reform and opening up, interest integration-expression of trade union has deficiencies in many fields, such as the role orientation of trade unions leading to the conflict of the positioning,the administration of trade unions leading to its lack of independence and the simplification of the means and ways of interest integration-expression of trade union leading to the invalidity of interest expression, which caused the separation of working class mass from trade union.The fourth chapter analyses social ecology of the interest integration-expression of modern trade union in China. Taking promoting the basic strength of the development of the contemporary world as the analysis path, the development of globalization,market-oriented and democratization as the background, this chapter points out the process of China's integration into the economic globalization, which not only promotes the prosperity of economy but aggravates the China's labor problem at the same time, while the essence of the problem is the guarantee of workers' rights and interests in labors relations. With the deepening polarization of China's social structure and benefit motivated by the process of marketing, it needs to build a corresponding interest expression mechanism to solve the serious crisis of interest coordination. Under the declining condition of traditional interest expression mechanism, trade union interest integration-expression could adapt to the demands of the development trend of the increasing diversification of society,the decentralization and liquidity, which becomes the major part of current society interest expression mechanism and interest coordinating mechanism; China's model of democratic political development requires the interest integration-expression of trade unions to be compatible with this.The fifth chapter illustrates the basic idea of the reconstruction of the interest integration-expression mechanism and organization structure of the trade union. The conditions and characteristics of trade union in the China's revolutionary years and the planned economy system, apparently cannot adapt to the existing conditions of China's working class under the socialist market economy system, and also not meet the demands of workers'interest integration-expression. Reconstruction of interest integration-expression mechanism and the organization structure of the trade union must be carried out so that it can follow the profound changes in social development. To make the reconstruction come true, it should be based on emphasizing the transition of working class and the change of benefit relationships and strengthening the function of the trade union interest integration-expression, then take it as a breakthrough in the reform of trade unions, and improve the reform of industrial and basic-level trade unions.The last part of the paper is conclusion. It points out that the development of China's trade union and its problems have important political system background, which is also the result of the interaction of numerous factors. In order to change the awkward situation the trade union faced with, except their own efforts, it relies on changes in the relations between state and society, but more on workers to establish the position of subjectivity in the practice of the trade union activities. Indeed under the condition that the development mode of trade union dominated by our party and government being difficult to change, the transition and reconstruction of trade union should rely more on the development and maturation of the society group, especially on the development and maturity of the worker's group.
