Guided by Marx 桳eninism , Mao Ze-Dong?s thought and Den Xiao-pin?s theory, applying dialectical materialism and historical materialism to Chinese reality, this dissertation investigate the essential cause, general cause and concrete cause of National Contradiction in Socialist Primary Stage (SPS), and cast light on dealing with and solving fundamental principle and means of national contradiction in SPS. Identifying the concept and the meaning of national contradiction in SPS, the paper is divided into three parts: The first part investigate the totall state of national contradiction in SPS. Arguing that national contradiction in SPS differ from national contradiction in class society with regard to the fundamental property. In cla~ society, national contradiction is mainly the antaganistic contradiction between a dominating class in dominating nationality and labor people in dominated nationality under the opposite of essential benefit. But in SPS, exploiting class as a class has been eradicated already, national relationships are fundamentally the relationship between various national labor people, national contradiction are essentially non-antaganistic contradiction based on basic benefit unify in people within. The main kinds of national contradiction include: contradiction between Chinese nationality and the minority nationality as well as contradiction between minority nationality; national ecnomic contradiction, national political contradiction and national culture contradiction; national estrangement and national quarrel. The general character of national contradiction has complicatedness, importantness, sensitiveness and longterm. The second part is dedicate to analysis the cause of national contradiction in SPS. Arguing that the root of national contradiction consist in the productive form in definite social material data and a developmental state of definite social productivity. National difference and exchange are requisite conditions in generating national contradiction. National benefit are basic elements in generating national contradiction. The ecnomic elements on which bring to bear national relationship in current stage, which is likely to cause, help materialize or arouse national contradiction in current stage, are mainly the extence and enlargement in district leeway, possessment and exploitment in national territory resourse, as well as transformation and reforming in economic institution. The third part is dedicated to discuss the strategy problem on national contradiction in SPS. Arguing that the basic principle dealing with national contradiction include: national equality, national joint and common prosperous in various nationality; fact-for-truth and concrete analysis for concrete problem; upholding for pepole benefit and legal dignity.
