Leaming orgAnzation is a new management model in the tWenty-firSt cenmp.As China has been a member of WTO, the Chinese compAnes must be redesigned forleaming orgAnzations to adapt to the new environment, to bulld a leamingorgboZaion. Hnistratiye Persormel and workers should irnprove their self leamingcaPability.Lertg orgwton theory indicates thaL compboes should focus on the stateof the individual Inind in order to enhance the organhational ledring caPability;self leaming is a magic weapon for the continuous development of the company anditS Personnel. Under the backgrOund of Chinese cultUre, the leaders are the vital tobuilding leaming orgMions. It can help to form the cultUre of orgMionalleaming that the leaders are the first to leam to leam. So stUdtwg on the leaders'seiflendg caPability is valUable theoretically and prachcally.With the scale develoPed by the author, the paper explores the factors thatinfluence the leaders' self leaming caPability, and probes into the stwctUre of theleaders' selfletag caPability, then suggeStS how to driprove the caPability.ffeoUgh literatures analyzing, talking with expertS, field stUdying and so on, thepaper generalizes 5 factors that influence the leaders' seif leaming capability: ledringmotivahon, self efficacy, leanilng strategy, meta-cotwhory genetal ability. Based onthe analysis, we make uP 'the leaders' self leaming caPability scale" with 80 items.The resultS indicate the scale has high reliability and valldity.The paper testS the contrict validation of 'che leaders' self leaming caPabilityscale" and the subscales with the 593 subjectS. The resultS of Codriation FactorAnalysis (CFA) show the construct validahon of the scale and subscales is good. Themodel that is consisted of leaming motivation, seifefficacy, leaming amegy,meta-coghhon. general ability, fitS in well with act'Ual datuIn a word. the study tries to probe into one driPOrtant asPect of bullding 1eanilngorpMion for Chinse comPany. It needs deep St'Udy to give fulI play to leaders'role. to integrate into individual letalg with orgwtonal leaming. It is veryAnPOrtan for richening leaming orgamzation theory and driproving prachcal work toStUdying the problem.
