| The logistics theory has been introduced into China for so short time that the role it plays in China's economy was realized few years ago. And the study of logistics in China is fresh for both domestic and abroad researchers. However, in view of the condition of China and some research materials, it is essential and practicable to establish the rural logistics system. Taking the current situation into consideration, supported with Marxist dialectical materialism and historical materialism, combining the standardized research and positive research according to the principle of the combination of theory and practice, the author of the article conducted a further study on rural logistics system in China by summarizing the development of logistics theory in China and some other countries. The author hopes to probe the way by which the rural logistics system will be set up in China, and the logistics model suitable to China's condition will be established. By taking the study, the author also expects to improve the level of the rural logistics research in China and strengthen the exchanges and cooperation of the research in China and many other countries. The whole article consists of the introduction and seven chapters.Chapter 1. IntroductionThis chapter presents the backgrounds, the purpose and the significance of the study in the first part. An overall survey of the condition of the study on the logistics theory in China and some other countries is made, in the meantime, an overall survey development of rural logistics of China is made in the second part.
