China Bureau Level Cadres Of Leadership And Related Characteristics Of Study

The leader has always had outstanding status and plays important functions in society. Under the economic globalization, the leader's quality, to some extent, determines the future and destiny of a country. This research, in terms of relevant disciplines, such as psychology, leadership studying, administration studying, management, statistics, discusses the leader's abilities and relevant personality theoretically, and through the empirical research, has probed into the component factor in ability and personality in different leaders in China. A questionnaire was designed to evaluate the ability scales and personality traits in leaders at different levels. The measurement instrument proved both reliable and valid statistically.In the part of theoretical research of the thesis, literature review of the domestic and international research about the ability and personality of leaders has been done, which services to draw on both the experience and deficiency in foreign and domestic countries. Then the thesis analyses the theoretic meaning of this research and actual function, and has explained the concepts related to this research.In the part of empirical study of the thesis, the results show that the component factors in leaders' ability and personality are as follows: form the key element as decision ability , ability to organize, coordinate ability .ability of selecting the right person .encouragement ability, innovation ability, linguistic competence, the ability to find and solve the problems, adaptability to changes, prediction ability, judgment, self-knowledge, ability to study new knowledge, self-confidence, dedication, sense of responsibility, enterprising spirit, logic, sense of tolerance and efficiency.
