The Third Party Logistics (3PL) is one of the main forms of modern logistics. The drastic competition necessarily leads to the generation of new forms of logistic organizational structures in the supply chain management environment, among which is the Dynamic Logistics Alliance (DLA). The DLA is the logistics organization composed of the core companies allied to companies which provide the logistics services on the basis of core capabilities correlation to achieve the strategic objective of responding to the customers' logistics service demand readily. The evolution of logistics organization structures and the emergence of the DLA have given rise to the new tasks for the theoretical research. From the perspective of core member in the DLA, the DLA in the specific time and space environment is defined as logistics systems in the dissertation, and some key decision making questions on logistics systems establishing and operation optimization processes are mainly discussed. In Chapter 1, the history of logistics in China and abroad are extensively reviewed, and the theoretical and practical background for the dissertation is introduced briefly. In Chapter 2, relevant literatures on the logistics systems modeling, logistics partner selection, logistics network planning and agile logistics dispatching are comprehensively reviewed. It has been found that it is a very new research area to study the dynamic logistics alliance from the perspective of decision support for the logistics systems establishing and operation optimization. The Chapter 3 focuses on the logistics system planning and logistics systems modeling. According to the long term and dynamic characteristic of logistics systems planning in the supply chain environment, the logistics systems planning approach based on the logistics contract is suggested. In order to simplify and standardize the logistics systems planning, the idea on the establishing Logistics Systems Planning Decision Reference model (LSPDR-model) is proposed, and its basic framework is set up here. Furthermore, the modeling technique based on the Logistics Systems Process Control model (LSPC-model) is suggested, and thus a new practical approach is given for the logistics systems planning. The combination of the LSPC-model with the LSPDR-model consists of the basic solution for the logistics systems planningand logistics systems modeling. In Chapter 4, the nature of the principal and agent in logistics partnership relationship is analyzed, and the three stage model for the logistics partner selection is proposed. The reference index system for the appraisal of logistics partners is established, and two multi-objective decision making approaches for the partner appraisal are analyzed, the appraisal approach based on the AHP-TOPSIS and the appraisal approach based on the catastrophe theory. The comparative research is held with the appraisal results from the different approaches with their practical applications in the field cases. In Chapter 5, according to the long term and dynamic characteristic of logistics systems planning in the supply chain environment, the three stages hierarchical control model for the logistics network planning is suggested, which includes distribution center location selecting, service allocating, and the delivery network constructing. Some important questions on the delivery network constructing process are studied as focal points, and as a result the feasible transportation routings searching algorithm based on the minimum allocating costs and the feasible transportation routings searching algorithm based on the approximate solution of TSP are proposed separately. In order to meet the need of flexibility in the logistics network planning, the network constructing algorithm based on the idea of dynamic programming and the approximation algorithm for the shortest path search based on the dynamic programming are also proposed as the basis of above mentioned algorithms. In Chapter 6, the agile logistics dispatching technique based on the distribu...
