Tourism shopping is a main part of tourism products. For our country, it's not only the strategic choice for the tourism industry to be developed in intensified way, but also the growing point of foreign exchange. So we should breed it to be the fourth backbone in the tourism industry after hotel, communications and travel agencies. But it has been being a weak part because of the impercipience and the low level of development for tourism commodity and market service.Up to now, people in our country seldom specially researched tourism shopping even though we are talking about its significance orally day by day. We are restricted in the study of concepts for commodity related to the tourism shopping, and the names and contents are not consistent. This surely makes it more difficult for us to recognize, understand and research tourism shopping, it's an obstacle in the communications and discussions between scholars in the country and out of the country, thus making it impossible to pay much attention to tourism-shopping in consciousness and policies, and to create more and better development space.Based on the requirements for innovation of tourism shopping concepts and guideline of practice, the paper set up a study framework for tourism shopping with literature textual research, site investigation and questionnaire under the instruction of the theories of Economics, Biology, Psychology. With the study framework, the situation and the existing problems in tourism shopping are analyzed and a basic idea of resolving these problems is concluded.The paper comprises three parts: tourism shopping theory framework, tourism shopping theory analysis, and the study of Chinese tourism shopping.The first part, i.e. the first chapter, is trying to set up the theory framework on tourism shopping. This is the base of this thesis. With a lot of analysis and summary of related documents from Chinese and foreigners, it brings a scientific concept for tourism shopping, focusing on the explanation from economic and cultural point of view. The framework comprises the commodity, shopping facilities as well as related personnel of tourism shopping.The second part, the theoretic piece, comprises chapter 2, 3, 4and 5 focusing on the analysis of three major elements in tourism shopping. Tourism shopping, the headline of the chapter 2, on the basis of the first chapter, discusses the types and properties of tourism commodity, and analyze the important effects of Tour shopping from the prospective of the relationships between tourism shopping, tourism and the notional economy. The third chapter firstly analyzes tourist shopping behavior using stimulate-react model and prospects the developing trend of tourism shopping; then analyzes the properties of tourism shopping different from other industries and the main problems by researching tourism commodity supply system; finally analyzes the market structure, market behavior and market achievements of Tour shopping by SCP framework. The forth chapter is tourism commodity, which is the object and also the core content of tourism shopping. The paper tidies up the concept, coverage, and basic characteristics of tourism commodity. On this base, it analyzes the whole concept, thedevelopment strategy of new tourism commodity, and the tourism commodity culture. Chapter 5, taking the study method of time and space, raises a variety of tourism shopping layouts with the core of hotel, tourism attractive commodity and tourism shop, analyzing the required shopping facilities for tourism shopping, mainly introducing the development of tax-free shop, Plaza and open-air market.Third part, the demonstration piece, comprises Chapter6, 7, 8 and 9. It studies the worldwide development situations of tourism shopping on the basis of the theory analysis in the second part, thus raising the fundamental thoughts and key strategies on development of tourism shopping in China.
