Investigation On Agricultural Competitive Power Based On Industry Organization

The thesis focuses on both international competitive power of agriculture and industry competitive power. Competitive power of agriculture is identical in the two aspects, which form the research object of the thesis. In methodology, the thesis constructs unique research formula and analysis structure based on SCP analysis of agriculture competitive power, and break through the limit of actual academe. The thesis emphasizes on the result or performance that directly affect the conduction of agriculture economy, and then analyzes the market structure that leads to the result or performance.The thesis includes nine chapters, which contents are as following:First chapter includes the evaluate on status in quo of international and domestic research on competitive power of farm produce in China, and simply presents the research object, methods and content.Chapter two tries to probe into research formula of competitive power and comments on three formulas in turn, including abstract research on competitive power, application research on competitive power and specific research on competitive power. Abstract research on competitive power is the most abstract subject arrangement, exerting analyzing implement of academic economy, and explains academic the internal economy inter- relation of competitive power. Application research on competitive power is in the relatively specific subject arrangement, exerting the application economy in describing analysis and estimate all-over relationship. Specific research on competitive power is in the most specific arrangement, and in principle will research and analyze any important factor.Chapter three probes into the multinomial character of the definition of competitive power. It is important to China to investigate competitive power in system angle. Furthermore, it limits the scope to industry organization, and discusses the particularity of agriculture industry. Then, it shows that agriculture competitive power in the final analysis origins in the rational structure of agriculture industry. In addition, the chapter, based on SCP analysis structure, gives demonstrational description and estimation of the state of our country's agriculture competitive power from three angles: structure of agricultural market, conduct of agricultural enterprise and market performance. The conclusion is as following: over-competitive market structure and individual peasant's passive conduct lead to the lowness of market performance of Chinese agriculture and the lowness of competitive power of agriculture.Chapter four is the stretch of chapter three, based on SCP analysis, which includes an index system composed by six one-class indexes. The system is used to evaluate and judge the degree of agricultural competitive power and development: agricultural operation scale; the degree of peasants' systematization; the concentration of agricultural market; the discrimination of farm produce; the integrity degree of agriculture industry; the bulwark of agricultural advance and retreat.Chapter five discusses the problem of peasants' industrialization, summarizes the peasants' property of modern China, posts the definition and historic inevitability, expects the variance phases of peasants' industrialization, and at last probes into several key problems to push peasants' industrialization. This chapter gets a conclusion from a simple fact that, to modern industry, if the basic unit of the industry is not enterprise, if the manufacture function and exist function of the basic unit is intertexture, then it is impossible. The viewpoint is to modern agricultural, it is not exhaustive.
