Management innovation is an inevitable task for Chinese enterprises today. Ifthe management innovation can gain success descides the destiny of the enterpriseand its competitive advantage. However, the problem is that there is no necessaryrelationship between the content and the result of the management innovation. It isreported that the rate of successs in global innovation is no more than 40%, whilethe lost is huge. At the same time, the research on the management innovation is stiilfocusing on the object, content, ways, process of management innovation, withoutstuding on the fators influencing the performance of the management innovation. This dissertation puts forward the conceptual model of organizational learninginfluencing the performance of management innovation. This model is based on thereview of the management innovation and organizational learning theories anddevelopment of Pro. Rui mingjie (1994)'s theories of management innovation.,following the thinking of Stata(1993) ,that is, studing the management innovationfrom the perspect of organizational learning. The author puts forward the folowinghypotheses: First, organizational learning level influences the performance of managementinnovation; Second, organizational learning methods influence the performance ofmanagement innovation; Third, there are significant differences in management innovation performance,organizational learning level and organizational learning methods between theorganizations with different structures, cultures or under the different enviromentalchallenges. Forth, the organizational structure, culture and enviromental challenge are themoderators of the relationship between the organizational learning method and theperformance of management innovation. This paper mainly uses the empirical method to test the hypotheses throughSPSS and LISREL statistical softwares. Most of the supposes are proved or partlyproved. The analysis demonstrates that organizational learning level influences theperformance of management innovation positively. That is, the higher the 2organizational learning level is, the higher the performance of managementinnovation will be; Four kinds of organizational learning methods have influence tothe performance of some management innovation; Under the most conditons, thereare significant differences in management innovation performance, organizationallearning level and organizational learning methods between the organization withdifferent structures, cultures or under the different enviromental challenges; Theorganizational structure, culture and enviromental challenge are the moderators ofthe relationship between some organizational learning method and the performanceof some management innovation. It is proved effective to use organizational learning theories to explain theperformance of management innovation. In the management pratice, we can adjustthe structure ,culture and environmental chanlenge according to the need ofmanagement innovation, or take them into account and select the most effectiveorganizational learning method to obtain the goals. The research can provide theguidance to the management innovation pratice.
