In the long term historical process of Chinese revolution and construction, the first generation of leaders represented by Mao Zedong who adhere to Marxism-Leninism as the guide of inner-party democracy-building ideas and come from China actual conditions has made a series of expositions on the inner-party democracy-building and formed inner-party democracy-building ideas with Chinese characteristics as the result. The first generation of Chinese leaders has made setbacks and errors at the inner-party democracy-building and made some wrong ideas. The study on correct and also erroneous ideas of the first generation of leaders of the Chinese communist Party has great importance on the research of Maoism and Theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics. In the last, it also has significance on strengthening and improving the inner-party democracy-building under the new situation.The first chapter of this book discusses the appearance of democracy theories within the CPC's argument based. Chinese Communist Party is base on guidance of Marxism, the proletarian Party. Theory of inner-party democracy comes from Marx, Engels, Lenin and other inner-party democracy ideas. Meanwhile, china's ancient and modern democratic thought and institutional factors constitute the CPC's historical and cultural basis for democratic theory.Chapter II of this article discusses the formation of inner-party democracy theory of the first generation of leaders of the CPC. At the early founding of the CPC, Chen Duxiu, Li Dazhao, who expounded the basic ideas of democracy within the Party, and in the Party's one big, two big established the principle of democratic centralism. In the period of national revolution, the Chinese Communist Party's democratic centralism, collective leadership and inner-party supervision has been made detailed provisions.
