Study On Integrated Governance Structure For Non-Profit Organizations

Since the eighties 20's century, non-profit organizations (NPOs) grew rapidlyglobally and become a significant social change and organizational systeminnovation in social politics and economic life for all of the countries. As theaccelerating steps on government reform and market economy, NPOs take greaterrole in the areas of political, economics and culture, and become an important parton the construction of harmonious society. With the growth of NPOs, the problemof week governance comes out obviously. The situation of inner governance andoutside inspection inadequate at large which bring great influence for the healthygrowth and shake the society, which severely restrict the growth of NPOs. Part ofthe reason is the theory study on NPOs in China is late. The thesis takes the angleson management and economics, discusses the structure reconstruction of NPOgovernance under the background of system of China, tries to focus on NPOintegrated governance structure study, and providse theory reference for research onproblems on NPO governance.The thesis takes unique growth environment as background for NPO in China,analys the dilemma for governance of NPO. The system background in China andwelfare characters of NPOs have determinded that outside inspection is an importantpart of governance structure. The study starts with principal-agent theory, propertyright theory and governance theory, analysis the relationship between innergovernance system and development environment, governance and performanceevaluation, and establishes the whole governance theory logic system, andconstructures theory basis for study framework and research theory basis forintegrated governance structure of China.Scientific and standard governance mode is the precondition for improvementorganization operation efficiency and social result. The study starts from theconstruction of framework on integrated governance structure, then, concentrates onaspects of inner governance and outer inspection. The governance systemenvironment is not perfcet during transaction period, the study puts theory idea forstrength inner governance while takes outside inspection into governance structureof NPO. Outside inspection is important condition for achievement of governance effectiveness for NPOs spectial growthe environment of China. Inner governanceand outside inspection governance have constituted integrated governance structure,and can not be separated. Mean while the thesis proposes the opinion on presentstimulation mechanism which give too much emphasis on the problems on spiritualencourage and neglet substance incentive and process stimulation. The studybelieves that substance incentive and process stimulation are equally important forthe improvement of governance of NPO. The thesis develops the discussion andemploys the instimulation entropy into the stimulation mechanism of NPO, andprovides a new thought for the study of stimulation mechanism of NPO.The thesis set up creatively the system of integrated governance structureevaluation of NPO, and constructed governance effectiveness mode. The studychanged situation that has only performance evaluation without governanceevaluation before for NPO. The thesis takes welfare foundations in HeilongjangProvince as case study, and borrows governance effectiveness analysis methodwhich eliminates the influence due to the different background for the objectivecondition for different foundations and reflects the difference on governancebecause of organizational governance ability and provides theory platform fordeveloping the superior and weeding out the inferior and the healthy developmentof NPO.The study focus on the problems of integrated governance in NPO and takesmanagement, economics, behaviors science and mathematics as references, adoptsdocuments study, standard study and empirical research methods together, borrowsgovernance experience from abroad and China, and aims to provide theoryreference for the further exploration on related fields.
