Study On Uighur Women Folk Mutual Aid

It is a common phenomenon that Civil mutual assistance has been living in Uighur social production and daily life. As an informal institution,the folk mutual aid can improve the moral consciousness of the members of the society and develop the traditional virtues of helping others to kindness of the Uighur.It has an important role in enhancing the quality of life of Uygur women,optimizing the social resources,making up for the shortage of social security,strengthening the social stability and national cohesion. The author limited the study object of folk mutual aid as Uighur women who are considered as marginalized groups and gave a profound analysis of folk mutual aid under the Background of unique traditional culture and the realistic environment in which the social economy has greatly developed in an anthropological point of view which used fieldwork, community and case research method.This paper viewed from the angle of studying the Uygur women's mutual assistance within the family, among relatives and neighbors,spontaneously relief in the masses and mutual assistance in the rituals of life, religious activities, production activities, private lending and take the study view of Kashi City, Town of Rostock Zach in Shufu County, the Aqsakermarele Township in Bachu County, the Ymli Township in Jiashi County, Dongfeng Farm of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Community, Xinjiang province and other communities of Uygur.The author introduced the ideological basis, scope manifestations, features, functions of the Uighur women's folk mutual aid systematically.and focus on concept features, functions and the operating mechanism of the the folk mutual aid organization such as Red cross of Kashi city, Loving Care mother association, poverty alleviation mutual funds of cooperatives in Kashgar region,and gave a profound analysis of its social vicissitudes, the interaction with the social security, the limitations and adaptations, and positive role in women's empowerment and promoting the development of Uighur women in the transitional period.The author teased out the value orientation of Uighur women's civil mutual assistance: by mutual questioning from the ideological concept to practice action and from traditional to modern traceability of Uighur women's folk mutual aid. First, the concept of Islamic welfare is the ideological foundation of Muslim consciously helping the poor behavior, expecting to enter the beautiful Paradise after their death is the driving force behind them;Second,the basic form of duration of the folk mutual aid from tradition to modern is that its kingred mutual aid based on the patriarchal. Third, the main way how to realize mutual aid is the custom of association etiquette among relatives, friends and neighbors which based on principle of mutual benefit;Fourth, folk mutual aid organizations are effective form which rely on the strength of the collective to achieve women's development. In the Course of Modernization, traditional folk mutual assistance have been some changes, considerations of interest became an important factor to build a new order of folk mutual aid in the Uygur women. As an informal institution Uighur women folk mutual aid has its own system, only achieving the greatest degree of compatibility with the social security system can realize the Uighur women's empowerment and participation in community affairs, ultimately achieve the development of their own ability.
