The reform of P·E teaching methods are more and more emphasis on the combination of educational theory and practice, and tend onefold to the comprehensive. Innovative education is an extension, ecpand and deepen of the quality education, it is an important way of cultivating high-quality creative talents. Based on the study of P·E teaching methods with the innovative education concept, not only can promote P·E teachers to update their concepts, to change their roles, and to improve teaching quality and efficiency, but also can create a learning environment for students'independent thinking, the courage to explore, constant innovation, to help students master learning methods, to form a correct attitude and P·E values. It aims to provide a reference for promoting the theoretical research of school P·E, for enriching and innovating the modern P·E teaching.This paper carry on an theoretical and practical investigation in P·E teaching methods with the innovative education concept, based on the formation of the teaching, movement skill, new curriculum, with the methods of literature, expert interview, questionnaire investigation, experiment. Expounded the connotation, constitution of the innovative education concept, requirements of P·E teaching; Researched the evolution, concept difinition, syetem construction, design, selection and implementation countermeasures of P·E teaching methods; Discussed the innovative perspective and ideas of P·E teaching methods by example; Compared the different effects on enhancing student's physical fitness, improving acquisition efficiency, and cultivating the sense of innovation between "to learn" P·E teaching method and "to teach" P·E teaching method through experiment. Concluded:(1) The innovative education concept is a kind of educational concept, emphasize the cultivation of students'ability, its core is the innovation consciousness and innovation ability, it has guiding function on the reform of P·E teaching methods. (2) The P·E teaching method "is to define the activities of teachers and students to achieve the teaching objectives, teaching task, using a series of teaching strategy, organization, the specific means of teaching measures." Divided into "to learn" P·E teaching method and "to teach" P·E teaching method.(3) The P·E teaching methods should be designed to follow the principles of fitness, diversity, selectivity, and interest. It is selected applications from students and learn methods. From the teaching elements as a whole, reasonable arrangment, preferably a combination of The P·E teaching methods; From the teaching effect, the students'future development to proceed, expansion of, the screening of The P·E teaching methods.(4)"to learn" P·E teaching method superior to "to teach" P·E teaching method on enhancing student's physical fitness, improving acquisition efficiency, and cultivating the sense of innovation three respects.
