There is a tendency of marginalization and weakening in moral education. The underlying reason is the weakening and deviation in moral education impetus mechanism. However, the research on this issue does not turn out to be sufficient, which leads to systematic weakness in research approach and a lack of depth in findings. Therefore, in order to strengthen the function of university moral education, it is crucial to conduct research on moral education impetus and its mechanism using systematic approach. Practice shows that only by mastering the contributing elements to moral education and the interaction mechanism among different elements can people fully understand the connotation of moral education impetus mechanism and its basic inherent contradictions, regular patterns, and potential future development trend. This will result in better ways to promote moral education.Moral education impetus mechanism is an interacting mechanism among different moral education elements, which stimulates the development of the structure, function and condition of moral education.Moral education impetus mechanism forms an organic integrity by integrating all the elements that contribute to moral education impetus, which optimizes the functioning of the impetus and achieves the coordinating development in moral education. According to the structural characteristics of the mechanism, moral education impetus mechanism can be divided into endogenous impetus mechanism, exogenous impetus mechanism and linkage impetus mechanism.The endogenous impetus mechanism refers to an organic system which is formed by the elements originated from the host of moral education, including the impetus elements of education host, the impetus elements of those who receive education, the impetus elements of social host, and the impetus elements of political host. The impetus elements of education host include the incentive drive, their needs, and their moral ideal and value pursuit. The impetus of those who receive education includes material benefits, socialization needs, and mental and noble pursuit. The social elements include maintaining social order, preserving moral inheritance, and realizing harmonious social ideal. The political elements include maintaining the interests of different social class, infusing ideology, securing political stability, and achieving the highest ideal. The endogenous mechanism is an interacting mechanism between the existence and development of moral education, which provides value direction, practical direction and the development of human, and enhances the inheritance of moral education, moral theory and moral practice.The exogenous impetus mechanism is the interaction mechanism among the elements originated outside of the host of moral education. The elements of this mechanism are theoretical creativity and practical creativity. And this mechanism is an external mechanism between the formation and development of moral education, which energizes the reformation and creativity activities of moral education, and promotes the interaction between the internalization and externalization of moral education.The linkage impetus mechanism is the mechanism that promotes the interaction among the elements of the moral education impetus system. This mechanism is comprised of moral education accelerating mechanism and moral education buffer mechanism. The linkage impetus mechanism is an important factor to form and develop moral education. It is essentially an integrative and bridging impetus mechanism that functions as the force to maintain instrumental rationality and value rationality, and guarantee the proper level of motivation in moral education.Moral education impetus mechanism is an organic integrity whose operation follows regular patterns and rules. The first rule is the law of profit and loss in moral education impetus. There will be a delay effect when there is excess impetus, and will be an accelerated effect when there is not enough impetus. The purpose is to balance the impetus. The second rule is the game rules of moral education impetus. The positive impetus and negative impetus of moral education achieves mutual development through gaming dynamics, and reaches balance with the assistance of the impetus mechanism. The third rule is the law of increase or decrease in moral education impetus. Moral education impetus'variation evolution law is mainly embodied by variation in times and diversity, and quality mutual degeneration rules. Moral education variation evolution rule shows its uniqueness in diachronic, synchrony and sustainability. Moreover, with the effect of moral education mechanism, the impetus variation will evolve in a positive direction.Moral education impetus mechanism must be built under the guidance of Marx's anthropology theory, which is to construct the logical framework based on the essence and value of human. Therefore, based on the values of respecting the existence of human, the returning to the world, and providing guidance on ultimate concern, the purpose of constructing moral education impetus mechanism is to prevent the variation in moral education and human beings, stimulates the development of socialization and personalization, and achieves all-round development of human beings. The mechanism is formed with four dimensions, namely host, interest, value and system.Moral education impetus and its mechanism is the core of moral education, which is also a real-life problem related to moral education effectiveness. Based on the Marx's anthropology and need theory, this paper analyzes moral education impetus and its multi discipline by developing an understanding of moral education impetus mechanism and following the path of the ecological integrity of multi-discipline to form systematic framework to construct this mechanism. These efforts are significant in both theory and practice, because they may enrich the theoretical research of moral education impetus mechanism, and stimulate the growth in moral education theory and practice.
