In the mathematics teaching reform, the research of Teaching models has been arousing popular interest. Many teachers have carried out a great quantity of probing and researching work to reform and reconstruct the mathematics teaching models.Generally speaking, most such work merely deals with the problem of mathematics teaching from a sole aspect, within a limited range or under specific conditions and, therefore, fails to construct itself into some systematic and deep research.Taking a systematic multi sided view upon the whole mathematics teaching models enables people to avoid considering the problem simplistically, rigidly and iridescently. Firstly, it means the process from chaos to order. The macroscopically research is carried out on the basis of the construction of the models and starts from the related basic theory and the different ways of constructing and assorting the models. Then, it goes further to discuss the essence of mathematics and Chinese traditional culture, give a retrospect upon the traditional mathematics teach models and an din-depth, systematic analysis of the theoretical basis and the condition for the implementation of the models. The construction of the models is not the end. The research also bears the aim to ultimately assimilate the postmodern teaching ideas, put forward the idea of go beyond the existent teaching models and reaches the state of "no models"."No models" is not a negation of teaching models. Instead, it means the. emphasizing and reanalysis of the teaching models.Main work done:1. Discuss, analysis and research the theoretic basis of the mathematics teaching models from the viewpoints of mathematics philosophy, mathematics education and psychology.2. Basing on survey and experiments, Extract the ways of constructing the models, and the procedures for the implementation.3. Assimilate the essence of postmodern ideology and expatiate the teaching ideal of "No-models".4. Discuss the teaching models respectively offer categorization and undertake experimental research.5. Put forward the strategy for the research and implementation of the teaching models with the course of the specialization of teachers.
