Today, the relationship between digitalization and curriculum is becoming a hot research trend. But in my opinion, it may lead to incredible crises. We often focus too much on the digital substance. This is a train of thought in technology-orientation and result-orientation. While it is not a wrong direction, it doesn't deserve so much research interest. This will conceal the humanities of curriculum somehow and make people enjoy the direct results of digital technology. In this way, people will loose the ability of initiative thinking in the end.So, after criticizing deeply the principle of digital substance, I raise a new concept named "Digital Tao". It originates from and goes beyond digital substance. We prefer to put more emphasis of a kind of abstract thought other than to pursue the digital technology and enjoy the direct results coming from the use of digital facilities. And we are urged to focus our sights on the immanent value. Now, we can value the effects that the digitalization brings to the curriculum construction from the angle of "Digital Tao". That means we should penetrate the "Shell" of digital substance, and dig out the immanent values. Under its leading, I investigate on the subject of "The real meaning that Digital Tao brings to education and curriculum reform", "Digital Tao and spirit of curriculum construction" and "Digital Tao and the basic principles of curriculum construction". At last, I give an example to explain the relationship between Digital Tao and Curriculum Construction- Game Player & Learner Curriculum. This paper is to eliminate the limitation of the principle of digital substance and to build up an idea about "Digital Tao". Then, we can point out its values and effects to curriculum construction.
