With the prosperous development of the non-protit organization, it has beenplaying much more critical role in the society, which raises its expatiated social values.It had been thought that the destination of the non-profit organization was pursuingsome ideality, so this objection could be achieved by plunging into monetaryresources and mental devotion. However, with the changes of the social environment,non-prot1t organization encounters many challenges such as obligation -orientation,resource management, social identity etc. How to upgrade its performance hasbecome an important topic to exploit. Herein, this thesis refers to the non-protitorganization's CORPS analysis frame, processes with two specific cases, and tbcuseson how to raise the performance of the non-profit organization. Then this thesisaccomplishes a deep research on the performance management of the non-protitorganization. which is a primary area for the management research. The outline of thethesis is:Section One gives the non-profit organization a general explanation and specificdefinition, then discusses about the realm of the performance management issues.Section Two probes into the performance management issues in non-profitorganizations at length. By scientitic method, I select the two representative cases-China Youth Development Foundation and Hu Dong Church to analyze theperformance management problems thoroughly. The consistency between the author'sprediction and the research results establishes the validity of the CORPS analysisframe, and settles a foundation for the implications to the policy making involving thenon-profit organization's performance advancement. In Section Three, with theCORPS tool, the author proposes a detailed strategy analysis, combined with personalpractical experiences, on the non-profit organization's performance advancement.Concerning the lack of the relevant research literature in this field, the authortried to put emphasis on the following 4 specific requirements during the course ofthis research. First, to master the precise first hand material comprehensively;Secondly, to grasp the preceding and update research trends by reviewing largenumbers of domestic and foreign literature; Thirdly, to balance the originality and thelogicality of various positions. That is, to warrant the rigorousness of the thesis' logicsystem in spite of some different, or even reverse views in this primary research area;Fortly, to guarantee the practicability of the strategy put forward. These four linesof standards ensure the accomplishInent of the entire research.The innovative point of this research is that the author employed a scientific andpractical analysis frame (CORPS) for the non-profit organization with improvement.It is a useful tool in evaluating the performance management level of the non-profitorganization. Then based on the fie1d study of China yOulh DevelOPment FOundationand HI Dong Church's performance evaluation, I further the research of the generalstatus quo of the domestic non-profit organization's performance. FinalIy, by thecombination of the theory and practice, the author shift the COarS frame spatially,and abstract five dimensions to upgrade our non-profit organization, which includebuilding common vision to raise the organizational cohesion, establishing strategicalliance to fulfill the resource control ability, innovating the organization structure toimprove the processing efficiency, handling marketing conception to meet thedemands of the target consumers, and perfecting the internal and extemal surveillancemechanism to ensure the well being of the organizational development. Moreover,this research process leads me to breaking my stereotype of radiate tilinking. Though Ihave arrived at the mainland of China only more than two years, I feel my logicalanalysis ability has been more and more rigorous.
