University System Sequence Of Multi-center Study

The issue of "polycentric institution of universities" is one of the edge-cutting problems which are waiting to be probed into in higher education. Research on this problem is not only of great theoretical value but also meets the needs of the era. In view of the loss of subjectivity of the universities, this dissertation attempts to undertake an overall study on "polycentric institution of universities" which will broaden the universities' visual threshold and become the universities' valuable resources in perspective of "polycentricity" and "institution". The dissertation adheres to the principle of combining theory with practice, history with logic, opinions with facts. It stresses the communications among subjects and contemplates the differences and integration of institutions between the East and the West. In order to liberate universities' knowledge, productive forces, this dissertation is intended to define the concept, seek the inner logic, trace back the history and look into the future of universities' institutions; then put forward the idea of "many entities growing from the whole and harmonious interaction", explain the governing approaches of polycentricity, make a stratification research on the rules and regulations of universities, and try to find out ways to apply "polycentric institution of universities" into reality. We hold that this topic is not only a theoretical problem with great importance, but also a practical one with profound significance.The topic for this dissertation targets on "polycentric institution of universities" which can be classified into the following problems: What is the university institution? What's the value orientation and function of university institutions? How did it develop in the history and what is its possible future trend? Is it really a kind of innovation to carry out polycentricity so as to let many entities grow naturally from the whole and interact harmoniously? What is the polycentric institution of universities? Is it applicable? How does it form by means of combining the inner logical evolution of university customs, conventions and rules and regulations with the rational construction of human beings? What are the deviations in the university rules and regulations in China? What's the structure and content of university rules and regulations? What are the fundamental rules and regulations which can make university as it should be? And what are the general ones which can ensure the normal function of university, and still specific ones which can keep the daily operations of the university functioning smoothly?
