Development Strategy Research On University Hackerspace Under The Polycentric Governance

Since the first maker space was established in 2010,there have been 3155 maker spaces all over our country up to Nov.2016,according to the?2016 maker space development report accomplished by Shanghai University of Finance and Economics school of entrepreneurship and innovation and assisted by The Innovation&Entrepreneurship Education Alliance of Shanghai.Comparing with the development of maker space in those developed countries,it's not hard to figure out that they are far beyond us.Starting late,small scale and ambiguous construction emphasis are the problems we are facing right now.In the new age,'encouraging people to start their own business and to make innovations' has become the new engine boosting the growth of the economic,and innovation is the first power leading the development.The progress of the maker space in China has gradually formed its own character,thanks to a series of powerful policies backing maker space and entrepreneurship activities introduced by government at all levels.The core of 'encouraging people to start their own business and to make innovations' is stimulating the creativity of people,especially the youth.It is the willingness of the youth to start a business that makes our society alive,and it is the innovation of the youth that makes China prosperous.So the importance of maker space in universities stands out for they provide the platform for the students to start their own business,and have far-reaching impact on personnel training,economic transformation and social progress.In that way,who should lead the construction of the maker space in universities?The schools,the government or the enterprises?Summing up the relative research and analysis and according to differences between the investment subject,space structures,developing goals and the operation mood,I divide maker space into three types in this article:government dominating,park&enterpise cooperation and park&school cooperation;Sci-Tech industry parks dominating,enterprise&school cooperation;schools dominating,government leading,families supporting,enterprises assisting and students practicing--five in one.By analyzing the case of those three types of operation moods and comparing the development of the maker space home and abroad,this article actively explored the value of establishing maker space in universities proceed from China's actual condition,deepened the meaning of completing the maker space and targetedly put forward the strategy for construction of maker space in universities.At last,the article also explore the route of the development of the maker space in universities under the polycentric governance,according to the operation of South East University Science Park(GaoXin),which gives theoretical basis and practical experience to the forming of innovation and entrepreneurship ecology and the perfection of maker space in universities.
