Expression Of Power: The Professor Of Modern Chinese Power System Study

This study does research on the professors' power system in modern China. And the ways and methods include literature analytic method, development analytic method and comparative method.Firstly, the laws and regulations which the government and various universities have promulgated to endow professors with the power since 1912 are described and analyzed in detail and the functions of the board of directors in the modern universities are discussed. Secondly, using and embodiment of the power in the decision-making of school affairs are discussed. Thirdly, the professors' power system is turned about and validity is discussed. It is discussed whether professors' opinion can influence the decision-making of school affairs also. Fourthly, the influence to the system because of capturing the power is discussed. Finally, differences of professors' power system in modern China and in west on obtaining and maintenance are discussed and the localization of representative democracy is discussed also.Through above analysis, the author thinks that professors in modern China passively accept alms of government and don't go to battle on their own initiative. Professors don't constitute their own incorporation to stick up for their power, so the professors' immunotherapy to polity doesn't come into being. And the question in a dilemma between democracy and efficiency is brought forward in actualizing of professors' power.Though the professors' power system has many dissatisfactory aspects, the system develops forward and comes to be perfect gradually. Because the system gives professors chances to give lectures and research freely, they gain amazing achievement of scientific research and cultivating.
