The appointment system of professional teachers is the core of personnel system reform of colleges and universities. It advanced reform and development of colleges and universities. It is an important part of human resource management of universities. But facing to establish and consummate of market economy of socialism, some problems exist in the reform of the appointment system of professional teachers in colleges and universities. Based on the theory of human resource management to research the appointment system of professional teachers in colleges and universities is not only required to deepen the reform and the perfect mechanism of employ teachers, but also required to develop the practice of human resource management.In the course of stratagem to bring into effect the strategy of invigorating China through science and education and strengthening it by talents, project of higher education has quiet great progress. The marrow is to set positions according to the need, openly invite applications, compete for the positions and manage by contracts. But the appointment system of professional teachers in universities lack perfect system criterion. To establish genuine the appointment system of professional teachers in universities is need. To construct reform goal of teacher of universities from identity manage to post manage, from manage teacher to exploit human resource of teacher, from system restrict to incentive. By carrying out job analysis of teacher of university post,evaluate of post to establish model of post and ability model of competence . On the base of job analysis and evaluate of post, to establish model of performance examine on teacher of university,model of system of duty salary and model of integrate incentive mechanism. Based on theory of human resource management, to carry out set up post scientific, criterion appoint to a position way, strengthen manage after engage, to establish model of assort with market economy of socialism.Through establish market of teachers in universities, to accelerate flow with reason, in order to perfect system of duty appoint to a position engage of teacher in universities, to achieve goal assort with market economy of socialism.
