As the short form of "mathematics instruction experiment for improving efficiency in class "("G" "X" refers to "Gao Xiao" in pinyin), which is hosted by professor Chen Zhongmu and Song Naiqing in the year of 1992, GX aims for alleviating students and teachers' overburden so as to enrich students' quality during the basic education. With its widen influence in mathematics education, GX does not only receive high remarks, but also approach to the second-class of excellent research in basic education, the third-class of the Arts all over the china, and the second-class of scientific development in Chongqing.The principle guidelines embodied in the New. Curriculum Reform can be traced to the core essence of GX. As for an example, it requires intercourse and collaborates between students and student-teacher; it demands to reduce formality as to adapt to learning and teaching. According to the questionnaire, the improper phenomena are still existed in the school. Only "little" useful knowledge can be learned by students with "too much" time but in a "slow" speed, which "wastes" energy and time that should be put into the individual development. This paper is to expand GX theory with demonstration based on the analysis of Chen and Song.Therefore, the deep research of GX provides significant value on the subject of mathematics as well as the New Curriculum Reform in the new era.There are three parts in the paper:Part one—The theory study of GX: It includes literature review, logic beginning, theoretic foundation and the construction of GX teaching model.Part two—The construction of GX instruction model: It expresses the comprehension, characteristic, and style of the GX instruction model. Part three—The application of GX theory in mathematics: It tells the theory exploration and experiment of GX under the New Curriculum Reform background.Over the Marxism developing theory as the foundation methodology, interview (Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Yunnan), deduction and teaching experiment (Guiyang) are conducted in this research.There are two results according to the research:Firstly, beginning with "cut off students' overburden in order to cultivate quality-oriented education", GX model is set up supported by philosophy, psychology, pedagogy and sociology. The key step is to go forward optimistically and go up continually; to condense properly and openly at the very beginning; to do before speak and gather student co-working with teacher; to focus more on content and less formality, which is demonstrated absolutely through the whole system.There are three features of the GX model: "formal and content", "logic and experiment thought", and "speed and efficiency". With the basic, foundational, developing, integrate and principle feature, GX teaching mode is regarded as the main way to carry out the quality-oriented education in mathematics filed. GX instruction includes teachers' meaningful teaching and students' meaningful acceptable learning.Secondly, lecture is more efficient than exploration in mathematics class. Confronted with average poor performance in basic knowledge and technique, GX teaching model is acceptable under the New Curriculum Reform background, which also improves teachers' quality.The creative point of the paper is to set up the GX instruction model, which is the adjustment of lecture instruction model including teachers' meaningful teaching and students' meaningful acceptable learning. There are three features of the GX model: "logic and experiment thought", and "speed and efficiency". It is an explore for the GX theory's adaptation in the New Curriculum Reform, which is expected to bring more discussion.
