Fairy tale is, naturally, the spiritual food for children. Enjoying the fairy tale is the innate nature of children. Joyfulness that fairy tale provide is at the root of children's favor to them. But when the fairy tale enters the school and classroom, they are spurned by some children that because the spirit of fairy tale is die out in the daily education act. This essay would examine the relationship between the spirit of fairy tale and the growth of children's spirit, aesthetic education of children in four parts. In the first part, this writer expound on the concept of the spirit of fairy tale. It refers to the innate character of fairy tales, including the spirit of games, the quality of fantasy and the principle of pleasure, realm of poetic sentiment act. The second part focuses on the relation between the spirit of fairy tales and mental world of children. The spirit of fairy tale could trace back to and coincide with the mental world of children. The pleasure principle of fairy tale caters to the joyful nature of children. Its fancy quality merges into the rich imaginative power of children. Its poetic sentiment realm reflects the poetic wisdom of fairy tale. The spirit project the play instinct of children. The fairy tale spirit could contribute to the growth of children's spirit. It is also a good way to maintain children's joyful mental state and give vent to the agony that inflict on the weak ones by adults and the wicked impulse in life. Beside that it is the best choice to arouse the children's intuitive spiritual world. In the third part, through observation, this writer generalize the four common phenomenon in education filed caused by the loss of fairy tale spirit. The teacher pays sole attention to the fairy tale's educational function and oblivious to its aesthetic aspect. Fairy tale is regarded as the tool of cognitive education while the appreciation of art is ignored on the part of children; Fairy tales are broken down into words, phrases, sentences and paragraphs. The over analysis that gives by the teacher deprive the children's deep experience to fairy tale. The teacher also makes an inappropriate request on every student to understand the same argument and force them to reach a common destination which hampers the children's real involvement in the fairy tale. The loss of fairy tale spirit lies in the traditional culture view, children's outlook, and education concept, social and educational factors. It has the direct link to the teacher's quality. The fourth part of this essay put forward some ideals that promote the fairy tale spirit's return to education. As an organizer and supporter of fairy tale activity, the teacher should choose the tale according to the children's interests, stimulate the children's aesthetic experience during the process and achieve the end of guiding the children's growth, cherishing their life. At last, the essay proposes four tactics that could apply in the education of fairy tale apperception: Comprehensive art mode tactic, Rearrangement and creation tactic, Game and performance tactic, Situation exaggeration tactic. There are also concrete classroom examples to analyze these tactics.
