Since 1970's researchers found the importance of curriculum implementation and paid much more attention to curriculum implementation. In fact, nearly all researches on curriculum implementation focused on curriculum's operation and fate in the practice.In 2001 Ministry of Education of the P.R.C issued The Guideline for Kindergarten Education, which is based on the new curriculum ideals, and divided the kindergarten curriculum into five domains: health, language, social, science and art. Later kindergartens all over the country began to implement this guideline. But now there is lack of research on how kindergartens implement this guideline. In order to know status quo, find the problems in implementation and put forward suggestion for curriculum design, this article starts with science curriculum in the guideline and learns that how kindergartens implement the guideline.According to searching and analyzing the literature on curriculum implementation, this article formed the theory hypotheses and research frame: kindergarten teachers are the key roles in implementation; teacher's implementation is based on the past science curriculum; teachers understand the form curriculum affected by their curriculum orientation, and then deal with the curriculum essential. In term of this frame, the following questions are discussed: historical base of kindergarten science curriculum and its implementation; kindergarten teachers' science curriculum orientation; kindergarten teachers' understanding of the form science curriculum; kindergarten teachers' disposal of science curriculum essential; factors affecting kindergarten teachers' implementation.This article partitioned the historical kindergarten science curriculum in China into four stages: rudimentary stage, the whole stage, subject stage and integration stage; then designed a questionnaire for kindergarten science curriculum, which has a high reliability and validity. This questionnaire related to these questions: kindergarten teachers' science curriculum orientation; kindergarten teachers' understanding of the form science curriculum; kindergarten teachers' disposal of science curriculum essential; and factors affecting kindergarten teachers' implementation.428 kindergarten teachers from different level and kind kindergartens filled in this questionnaire.In the light of the statistics on the questionnaire, this article arrived some conclusion: humanitarian curriculum orientation is the preponderant and dominates the teacher's implementation; teacher's understanding of the form curriculum is close to the form curriculum; teacher's behavior of understanding are mostly adjustment instead of reflection and association; teachers adopt humanitarian manner to deal with curriculum essential, including objective, content, teaching and evaluation; teacher's score on curriculum orientation and understanding of the form curriculum can predict the mode of teacher's disposal; factors affecting teacher's implementation are mostly manager 's leadership and teacher's ability.Based on above research results, this article gives some suggestion on improving the quality of implementing kindergarten's science curriculum: renew the ideal of curriculum design; facilitate teachers' understanding of the form curriculum; strengthen the principal's leadership on the implementation; and reform the professional development curriculum for kindergarten teachers from the angle of integration curriculum.
