The thesis focuses on the main problem: to analyze the advantages and disadvantages, success and failure of the present high school organizational structure in China, which is based on the present situation narration about the organizational structures in different high schools, and to put forward the restructuring plan and developing trend according to the existing problem. Therefore, to further study how to build the school culture which is closely related to the school organizational structure, analyzing the present situation of the school culture-building and exploring the truth of it. Lastly, to arouse the school system restructuring from the rebuilding of the organizational structure and the restructuring of the school culture. In details, the thesis can be divided into the following seven parts to explain my viewpoints:The first part is to propose the idea of 'The present high school organization in China is an imitating process.' by combing the related theory on organization, organizational structure, school organization, and reviewing the theory developing process of the organization sociology. Moreover, to clearly point out the blind imitation and inheritance of the school organizational structure surely leads to the lack of school individuality, which has the direct relations with the cycle of school life development. Therefore, when we are restructuring the school organization, the school development and reality must be considered, so that we can propose and demonstrate our own personalized characteristics of school organizational structure. This part also deals with the challenge for school organization from the China's modernization advancement. Meanwhile, here analyses the stern of facing challenges from the macroscopic stratification plane of economic system and political system to the intermediate perspective stratification plane of knowledge economy, network technology, learning-style society, new curriculum reforms and so on.The second part is to elaborate the course of school organization development and changes of principal role on the basis of organizational structure theory, and to precisely analyze the basic level structure of modern high schools. According to the analysis of present situation, the article itself shows the viewpoint of 'The school organization is always similar.', emphasizing to carefully examine the function of Weber's Branch Level Theory in the high school organizational structure, advocating to lower the core of the school administration management and the flattening of the school organizational structure, in order to reduce intermediate links in management, and to implement the distributed leadership, cooperative leadership, participatory leadership. As a result, the authority can be dispersed to various levels of management, changing the original 'affiliated relation' into 'partnership'. Because of this, the value orientation of restructuring the school organization is stated here. Schools are quite different from general businesses and other community organizations. The former focuses on efficiency or achievements, carrying on the appraisal with the. quantitative index; but the latter is based on the cultural inheritance and innovation. The school quality and education brand is decided by accumulating school culture, which decides the school life cycle. However, schools must face reality. The society's value judgment usually restricts the school development foundation, including resources, so the school development is closely related to achievements, which manifests directly in student's academic achievement. Therefore, in the thesis, school is considered as a model of double orientation on culture and achievement. The third part focuses on the general characters and differences between the school organizational structure and the common social organizational structure. The school organizational structure is not only a heterostructure but also a multi-authoritative structure. The former refers to the two distinguished basic communities in the whole school organization: teacher community and student community, both of which are mutually the heterogeneous members. There are four common school organizational structure patterns in China, that is, the straight line school organization, function school organization, straight line-function school organization and service department school organization. The factors that affect the school organizational structure include exterior variable, internal variable and middle variable, so the dynamic choice can be available according to each kind of variable in designing the school organizational structure. The fourth part deals with the combination of schools and migration issues of educational resources in the process of restructuring high school organization. Firstly, the main cause is the education industrialization, the general idea of which appears around the mid-1980s. Many theorists have been debating for the issue of education industrialization so far. On the basis of the public education, opponents are questioning the idea of industrialization and marketization on value level, while supporters emphasize the nature of industry for education, considering education is a sunrise industry in a market economy environment. Based on the education industrialization in the reality, the in-depth analysis has been done to show all kinds of consequences, such as the combination of schools and migration issues of educational resources. Secondly, different kinds of situations have been pointed out in the process of combining and purchasing different schools. The idea of 'to cause the evolution of educational resources by managing, and to promote the development of education and economy by interacting' is clearly indicated here to build a new mechanism of 'the government-creating environment, the principal-creating brand, the teacher-creating quality, the student-creating culture', so that education will develop rapidly through the test of social market. Finally, I think the combining and purchasing of schools is like a double-edged sword, that is, during the process of expanding high-quality educational resources, the deterioration and alienation of which are also clearly exposed, for which the problem-solving idea has been pointed out here. The fifth part is that on the basis of the previous analysis, the characteristics of the future high school organization are mentioned, such as Internet-based structure characteristic, person-based humanistic characteristic, learning-style school developmental characteristic and so on. It's also focused on many different factors that should be fully considered when school managers design the school organization. Meanwhile, the most important part of rebuilding school organization is to strengthen school efficiency, but the key is to be good for improving teachers' professional development and the overall improvement of the teaching quality will be the result. The sixth part is that with the systematic analysis of the existing studies on culture, organizational culture and school culture, with a great effort to explore the truth of school culture, I think school culture is just like an underground river, the mixture of the emotion and social customs, which runs through every corner of the school and it guides what we do and what we think and then we'll go ahead for a potential goal. School culture is difficult to measure, but can be felt. School culture has fewer slogans, but it's full of deep cultural connotation. The combination of inheritance and innovation, trick and width in school culture is emphasized together with the importance of school culture construction and school culture evaluation. My article states that school evaluation has double orientation, that is high display degree (enrolment rate) and high development (culture brand), which echoes the conclusion of exterior orientation (efficiency) and internal orientation (culture) in restructuring the school organization. The last part will lead you to know schools are different from each other because of its culture. In the exercise of the functions, culture is emphasized on the different aspects of the social dynamics. The school cultural construction is made up of a loose and tight line, which is permeable in some ways, but impermeable in other ways. My article also discusses the application of educational policy in terms of system restructuring, that is, the two main policy levers: social market and reward-punishments. Meanwhile, the system restructuring should be guided by the three major principles: the transparency of indicators, the market mechanism of the public choices, the accountability system based on reward-punishments, for which the specific policy instruments have been pointed out in the reconstruction of the school system.
