The future is an era of innovation, which is the soul of a nation's progress and an inexhaustible motive force for a country's prosperity. It is the core of our development strategy to enhance the innovation ability and to build an innovation-oriented nation. Building an innovation-oriented country lies in the talent, particularly in the innovative scientific and technological talents. Postgraduates is the most active force among higher institutions, and the main group in building an innovation-oriented nation, and their ability to innovate has a direct impact on the country's overall innovation ability. This article holds that the cultivation of innovation ability in the cultivation of postgraduate is the key element in collaboration process. The dissertation, based on collaborative training theory, builds a collaborative analytical framework for the cultivation of postgraduates'innovation ability, sets up a model, a collaborative mechanism for the cultivation of postgraduates'innovation ability building, and conducts an empirical study on the performance of postgraduates'innovation ability building and its influencing factors.The main work and contents of the dissertation includes three parts.(1) To investigate, by making use of investigation and analysis, the cultivation of postgraduates'innovation ability at home and abroad, focusing on the introduction, analysis and comment of innovation, creativity, and the cultivation of postgraduates'innovation ability, and the collaboration in it. The dissertation studies themes and a clear idea of thesis research, documentation for the follow-up study also provides a theoretical support, thus put forward the theme and method of the dissertation, so as to provide a theoretical support for the following research.(2) To make an in-depth analysis on the cultivation of postgraduates'innovation ability on the basis of defining problems emerged in the training process, and from the collaborative angle. At the same time, the author builds a theoretical system of coordination which includes the characteristics, the constituent elements, dimension division, all bodies, and the integration of the whole process behavior.(3) To make a theoretical assumption, according to related literature and theoretical researches, on the building of collaborative model of the cultivation of postgraduates'innovation ability, mechanism analysis, and influence and performance of the cultivation of postgraduates'innovation ability. Then, the author validates collaborative innovation model of the cultivation of postgraduates'innovation ability by the approach of factor analysis and structural equation modeling and other methods, and verify the theoretical model of the cultivation of postgraduates'innovation ability by using variance analysis.
