| In the economical globalization and the cultural diversity time, the competition of cultural and the national culture protection become especially important. The traditional martial arts are the important constituent of the national culture, protect its inheritance and develop it are the historical mission which time entrusts with us. How to generation and develop China kongfu is the reason and logical starting point of this research. This research chooses fist of the five ancestor of the south shaolin temple (be called"the fist of the five ancestor"for short) as the target of the research. In 1982, in the research and arrangement of China kongfu, the fist of the five ancestor was considered as one of the eight main traditional fist art in Fujian province. It spreads in 29 countries and regions. And a party called the National Fellowship Party was formed especially for it. It's one of the most progressed fist art in China kongfu. So the research of the history and the development of the fist can promote other fist's development. Of course the experience of the fist of the five ancestor'success can provide a exemplary for the other fist's development.In the popular theory of"culture's three levels", Hanchuanhengfu divided the culture into three levels (culture of the society, technology and spirit). In this research I think, there are three levels (or facts) which are the culture of the society, technology and spirit. But either the three levels or facts is belonged to the development of the society. They are the three little levels or facts of the big fact of the development of the society. So we'll observe the relationship of the communication of the three aspects.The research of the fist of the five ancestor uses the method of the theory and the way of the physical-anthropology. The author has been study the fist of the five ancestor and the weaponry of lion-killer. In the research the author investigated some important places. They are Yingtang village in Jingjiang country, Crane Kongfu School in Xiamen, New Crane Kongfu School and Li Region in Quanzhou City(East Dhyana Shaolin Temple). He also went to Bangweiqiang Building(a building made in mud) and Caiyuming's grave of a monk in the legend to do some research. And went to Wengzhaoyan's parents'grave to verify the origin of Songyun Hall. He looked into the pedigree of the clan of the family name Cai in Qingyang, Bigwutang country. The author found the seal made by horny substance of Cai Yuming which signed by the words"Yu Ming"and collected some important materials just like stone lockstitch and stone used to crush rise and so on of Cai Yuming. In the oral research, the author investigated the general situation of more than 20 descendant of the fist of the five ancestor come from 4 countries and 7 Kongfu Schools. He visited 120 man-times of the main delegate in 3 cities and 7 countries in Minnan Region of Fujian Province to talk about Cai Yuming's legion and anecdote and the region and generation and proverb of the fist of the five ancestor. To do better in theory research, the author made friends with many other anthropologists in China. From October 2005 to March 2007, he had been to Zaodaotian University to learn the theory and the way of the physical-anthropology from Doctor Zhitianwenming who is the pioneer of the research of Kongfu culture in Japan and the Asia-famous anthropologist Hanchuanhengfu who is the president of the Physical-anthropology Party in Japan. Finally he summarized five conclusions.1.The fist of the five ancestor was founded by Cai Yuming in about 1886. He organized 5 ancient fist art spread wildly in Minnan area. There are three main tributaries in China with the name of the fist of the five ancestor. To show it belongs to South Shaolin Temple in Fujian, people added"South Shaolin"to it.Cai Yuming was born on December 30th,1853 and dead in January9th,1910. He was 57 years old. He was born in Quanzhou.2.The culture of the society, technology and spirit of the fist of the five ancestor change as the epoch changes. It has the character of the epoch.3.There formed a technology culture which contains the structure of the body, the technology system and traditional system in the fist of the five ancestor. The contents of the technology culture changes with the epoch.4.There is also characters of epoch in the spirit culture which contains the view of value, ethics and body of the fist of the five ancestor.5.In the process of developing, there formed a social culture in the fist of the five ancestor. The main content of the culture are:enlarge and form a stage for the development, make a progress in the social effect and take part more and more social activities. The detail can change with the development of the epoch.6.The communication relation between the culture of the society, technology and spirit of the fist of the five ancestor is that social culture changes after technology culture and then the new spirit culture changes and the change leads to changes in technology culture. |
