Job satisfaction as the most important research variable of organizational behavior has an important impact on the work behavior of the scientific and technical personnel, In addition, the research performance of the scientific and technical personnel constitutes the basis of business innovation, and the research performance is directly related to the level of scientific and technological level. With the knowledge economy era, science and technology has become much more important than capital, labor and land for production, so the study on job satisfaction of scientific and technical personnel and the relationship with research performance has important theoretical and practical significance.This article is Based on research project of the CAST "Survey of scientific and technical personnel of the High-tech Zone", uses the literature, theory, research, statistical analysis methods, discusses the theory system of job satisfaction of scientific and technical personnel, analyzes the status of job satisfaction, deeply research the impact of job characteristics factors on overall job satisfaction and the influence of personal characteristics factors on level of job satisfaction and importance of job characteristics factors, by redefining the meaning of research performance, put forward evaluation of research performance, at last through statistical analysis, comprehensively discusses the effect of contextual performance on task performance and the relationship between job satisfaction and research performance. In this paper, the innovative results are as follows.1. Construct a variable model of job satisfaction of scientific and technical personnel. On the basis of analyzing the meaning of job satisfaction, the content and feature of scientific and technical personnel, the paper discusses the impact of job characteristics factors and personal characteristics factors on job satisfaction and the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment and turnover intention, by integrating variables of antecedents and consequences of job satisfaction, construct a variable model of job satisfaction of scientific and technical personnel.2. Deeply research the factors of job satisfaction of scientific and technical personnel. By issuing a questionnaire to collect data on job satisfaction, analyzes the status of job satisfaction, discuss the impact of job characteristics factors on overall job satisfaction and the influence of personal characteristics factors on level of job satisfaction and importance of job characteristics factors.3. Redefine the concept of research performance of scientific and technological personnel and discuss the research performance evaluation. The paper points out that the "results" oriented research performance is difficult to make an objective and accurate judgments on scientific and technological personnel, on this basis we use two-dimensional model of the performance proposed by Borman & Motowidlo to explain the research performance, and redefine the concept of research performance, starting from the new definition put forward research performance evaluation, including the index system, index weight, and comprehensive evaluation.4. Analysis the correlation between job satisfaction and research performance of scientific and technical personnel. Based on the redefinition of the meaning of research performance, using multiple regression statistical methods to explore the impact of dimensions of job satisfaction on research performance and the influence of the two dimensions of research performance on job satisfaction, verify the interaction between job satisfaction and research performance of scientific and technical personnel. In addition, the article also discusses the impact of two aspects of contextual performance on task performance.
