The Mining Industry Development Of Typical Countries And Mining Industry Cycle Analysis

Since the end of last century, resource demand of our country growsrapidly with the sustainable development of mining industry, and furtherpromotes the prosperity of global mining industry. However, we shouldnot only appreciate the current mining industry prosperity, but alsofocus on life cycle of mining industry, grasp supply and demand patternof global mineral resources in the next period of time, adopt thehistorical experiences of developed mining countries, take shape thestrategic and put forward some relevant countermeasures of thedevelopment of mining industry.Based on empirical analysis of mining industry, take some typicalcountries, i.e America,Canada and Japan,for example, it revealsdifferent cycle characteristics of above countries, with the multiinfluence of resource endowment, industrialization, minerals trade,scientific and technical development, environmental protection, globaleconomic cycle and so on; Meanwhile, with the further study of the abroaddevelopment of mining industry of above countries, we suggest that onecountry should take active measure to encourage mining industry totransfer abroad when its mining industry step into the of developing andmature period, in consideration of resource acquisition, industrydevelopment and environmental protection; Besides, it should adaptmulti-methods, such as improvement and industrial convergence, topromote further develop in high end, to ensure the sustainabledevelopment of mining industry and to obtain resource effectively.On basis of the building of industrialized development quota system,we research the correlative relationship between mining industry andindustrialization, based on the contrast research of cycle analysis ofmajor developed countries such as Britain, France, Germany, Japan, Australia and so on. It come into being that according to resourceendowment, the development of mining can be divided into three models:resource shortage, ideal and resource abundant, and summarize the cyclecharacteristics and mining development countermeasure for differentmodel.Combining with the trend and supply and demand pattern of majoreconomy system in the next10-15years, this paper makes discussion aboutthe trend of development of world mining industry, and the researchindicates that in the next10-15years, with the driving power of BRICs,the main demand will be transferred from developed countries todeveloping countries, leading to another prosperous stage, but in themeanwhile, the contradiction between supply and demand of worldwideresource will become more and more serous.By means of reviewing, summarizing the mining industry development,synthetic analysis the life cycle of mining industry and the currentsituation of development for it abroad, to investigate related influencefactors of development of mining industry of our country, in combinewith anticipation of economic in the next10-15years, this paper makesa discussion on the development trend of mining industry and puts forwardsome suggestions for sustainable development of mining industry inChina.
