Along with the quick propulsion of the economic globalization and the new technique revolution tide, the agglomerating way and dynamical mechanisms of industry space took place fundamental change and had shaped some "New Industrial District" mainly characteristic with "Embeddedness", "the geography agglomeration", "the flexibility plus specialization" and "collective learning", the most typical examples of which are "the third Italy", Bangalore of India, Baden of Germany, Silicon Valley in the United States, and Route 128 in Boston, Austin of Texas, etc. Since middle and late 1980's,it had appeared many growth patterns of industrial cluster with regional feature and strong competitive ability in China, especially in Zhejiang and Guangdong province etc. Inside these successful industrial districts, a lot of business enterprises had obtained much exterior resource, and then carried out competitive advantage and made great development by through of setting up the strategic network with other business enterprises and relevant supporting organization (government department, industry association, financing institution, scientific research institutions and intermediary). Much practice has proved that this way of implementing IDBE's competitive advantage based on strategic network has very strong vitality.Under this background, this text systematically absorbs the research result of the related realms, such as business enterprise competitive advantage theories, socially economic network theories, industrial district theories and the industry organization theories etc, and then taking Zhejiang industrial district in China as the research object, trying to investigate and open out the function mechanism of carrying out the firm's competitive advantage inside the industrial district and the strategy meaning in strategic management by the view of the strategic network.on the basis of the previous papers ,the thesis, closely combining theoretical analysis with empirical research, tries to solve the following three decisive problems comprehensively and deeply: (1)In view of strategic network, what kind of path and mechanism do the characteristic of network resources act on the competitive advantage of business enterprises inside the industrial district? ? How the network ability of industrial district firm affects the business enterprise competitive advantage by affecting the network resources' characteristic? (D Which main factors has IDBE's network ability been influenced by ? Centering on three decisive problems, we have finished the following research tasks:(1) We obtain abundant, thoroughly and first-hand data by the way of the on-the-spot interview and questionnaire.Taking Yinzhou clothing industrial district in the Ningbo city of Zhejiang province as research object by empirical analysis, we had carried on intense interviews to the middle-level or high-level managers of 33 typical business enterprises and the main representative directors of 18 related organizations in province or city, had made the case study of some business enterprises among them, had carried on the comprehensiveinvestigation by questionnaires and have got 297 valid questionnaires finally, which accumulate much rich firsthand data for our carrying on empirical analysis.(2) Based on the various previous paper and syncretizing knowledge of several subject, we elementarily have set up the network analytical framework of IDBE's competitive advantage according to integration view.Based on the overall literature review, we discover the research of business enterprise competitive advantage from network view still lacks a systematic analytical framework currently by through searching many database, numerous working paper, the research thesis, and some academic website concerning business enterprise network and innovation study from domestic to abroad such as Vip full text periodical, the academic periodical net of Qing Hua, and the Elsevier Science Direct OnSite( SDOS), the mirror of SpringerLink, the EBSCO host, ProQuest Academic Research Library( ARL), UMI PQDD, PQDD doctoral dissertation full text database, and IDEAS( http:// ideas.repec.org/ s/ dgr/ tuecis.html), ECIS Working Paper( http:// fp.tm.tue.nl/ ecis/) IMP( http:// www.impgroup.org), the DRUID conference( http:// www.druid.dk) etc.Aiming at the present condition that the existing research of IDBE's strategic network and the competitive advantage function mechanism lack the systemic analysis frame, this thesis integrates knowledge of many courses such as the business enterprise competitive advantage theories, social network organization theories, the business network theories, industrial district theories etc and sets up systematically the network analytical pattern of the IDBE's competitive advantage based on the integration view on the foundation of the theoretical analysis and on-the-spot interview.(3) In view of the strategic network, we set forth some related function mechanism of the IDBE's competitive advantage by doing empirical inspection through the spssll.O statistics analysis.By making use of some analytical method such as the factor analysis, correlated analysis, regression analytical etc., We examined the two main mechanisms: the mechanism of The network resources acting on the business enterprise competitive advantage by through of affecting the IDBE's competitive advantage ability factor; the mechanism of the network ability acting on the IDBE's competitive advantage ability factor by through of affecting the network resources characteristic; Through the above research work, the main conclusions are as follows:First, different characteristic and concrete types of the business enterprise network resources show the significantly different influence on the IDBE's competitive advantage.At the first-class network resources aspect, network scope, backward potential difference, relation quality, intensity of supplier's relation, intensity of customer's relation, and supplier's duration degree all have a positive impact on IDBE's competitive advantage, which means that enhancing the characteristics of these variables, from statistics view in the whole, helps to carry out the business enterprise's competitive advantage.The network scale and customer's duration show negative relation with IDBE's competitive advantage, which means that having more collaborators and building up more long relation with customer go against carrying out the business enterprise's competitive advantage from statistics view in the whole. We also found by empirical analysis that forward potential difference, intensity of counterpart's relation and craft brother's duration degree did not show significant influence on the realization of IDBE's competitive advantage;At the second-class network resources aspect, second-class network scope and second-class relation duration degree have a positive impact on IDBE's competitive advantage, while the second-class relation intensity shows negative relationship with IDBE's competitive advantage, which means widening the second-class network scope, enhancing second-class relation duration degree and weakening the second-class relation strength all help to the realization of the business enterprise competitive advantage from statistics view in the whole.Second, different characteristic and concrete types of the business enterprise network resources show the significantly different influence on the ability factors of IDBE's competitive advantage.From statistics view in the whole, the network scale, network scope, the network, potential difference, the relation quantity, relation intensity, supplier's duration degree , craft brother's duration degree and second-class network scope all have a positive impact on IDBE's innovative ability factors; The customer's duration and second-class relation duration degree show negative relation with IDBE's innovative ability factors; the second-class relation intensity did not show significant influence on the IDBE's innovative ability factors.From statistics view in the whole, the network scale, backward potential difference, the relation quantity, intensity of customer's relation, customer's duration, second-class network scope and the second-class relation intensity all have a positive impact on IDBE's flexible specialization ability factors; The network scope, intensity of supplier's relation and craft brother's duration degree show negative relation with IDBE's flexible specialization ability factors; the forward potential difference, intensity of counterpart's relation, supplier's duration degree and second-class relation duration degree did not show significant influence on the IDBE's flexible specialization ability factors.From statistics view in the whole, the network scale, network scope, backward potential difference, the relation quantity, relation intensity, customer's duration, craft brother's duration degree, the second-class relation intensity and second-class relation duration degree all have a positive impact on IDBE's reducing cost ability factors; The supplier's duration degree shows negative relation with IDBE's reducing cost ability factors; the forward potential difference and second-class network scope did not show significant influence on the IDBE's innovative ability factors.In addition, we empirically have tested the function rules of the business enterprise network ability deciding the network resources characteristic(referring to the paper's 5.4.2chapter) and the main influencing factor of the business enterprise's network abilities on the network ability.Compared with previous researches at home and abroad, the main innovation of this paper's work concentrates at following a few aspects:(1) This thesis elementarily sets up the network analysis pattern, namely, "IDBE's network ability—IDBE's network resources—IDBE's ability factor of competitive advantage—IDBE's competitive advantage", which systemically explain IDBE's competitive advantage functioning mechanism under strategic network view from theory.According to this framework, we sum up and analyze the three ability factors of deciding IDBE's competitive advantage, bring the network resources into the theories category providing for the source as basal, and then taking the resource view and the dynamic ability theories as main analytical tool, completely demonstrate the two main mechanisms: the mechanism of The network resources acting on the business enterprise competitive advantage by through of affecting the IDBE's competitive advantage ability factor; the mechanism of the network ability acting on the IDBE's competitive advantage ability factor by through of affecting the network resources characteristic. Though the framework still is initial, it can convincingly explain IDBE's competitive advantage phenomenon by network from theory, as well as widening the view of business enterprise competitive advantage research and enriching the content system of the strategic network theories, the business enterprise competitive advantage theories and the industrial district theories.(2) According to the firsthand interview and questionnaire data, we empirically have found that relation mode with feature of Zhejiang province between the network resources characteristic and the IDBE's competitive advantage.While studying the relation between the business enterprise network resources and competitive advantage, the preceding research merely investigates the influence function of the single or the partial network resource's characteristics on the business enterprise's competitive advantage, which kind of research easily neglects the key variable and factitiously splits into the contacts among the different characteristic of network resources. This thesis uses the network analysis method of the structure-relation" for reference, completely depicts the network resource's characteristic and bring several important characteristics of the tokening network resources into the analytical category. On the basis of above all, By making use of some analytical method such as the factor analysis, correlated analysis, regression analytical etc., we systematically have examined the two main mechanisms.during making empirical research for the two mechanisms, we found that the ability factors of IDBE's competitive advantage are positively related with IDBE's competitive advantage as a whole.The creative ability factor and the cost-lowering ability factor are positively related with IDBE's competitive advantage, while the ability factor of flexibility plus specialization shows negative relation with IDBE's competitive advantage significantly. Along the analysis logic of the same, we discover the IDBE's network ability is positively related with its competitive advantage ability factor as a whole, at the same time, we further discovered some stat. laws how the IDBE's network ability influence characteristics of the network resources, which provides certain substantial evidence for verifying the function mechanism that IDBE's network ability influence IDBE's ability factor of competitive advantage.The further empirical analysis found that the negative influence of the ability factor of flexibility plus specialization on IDBE's competitive advantage mainly reflects the structural unbalance of the ability of flexibility plus specialization and the excess of hybrid flexible ability. At the same time, we also have discovered with the different conclusion from foreign related research, such as the network scale, customer relation duration from the first-class network resources and relation intensity from the second-class network resources all be disadvantageous for the realization of IDBE's competitive advantage (referring to the paper's 4.2 and 4.4 chapter) .We still have verified the mediator effect of the business enterprise competitive advantage ability factor and the characteristics variables of the network resources, which provides certain substantial evidence to prop up for the function mechanism that the network resources and network ability influence on business enterprise competitive advantage.(3) We scarcely discover the systematic explain and empirical analysis about the research of business enterprise's network resources type by through searching many database, numerous working paper, the research thesis, and some academic website from domestic to abroad. Based on the reading literature and on-the-spot interview, the thesis roundly describes the concrete forms and categories of the network resources, at the same time, we also have analyzed empirically that there are some relations between the concrete type of the network resources and IDBE's competitive advantage.The main conclusions are as follows: The network information resources, the network organization resources and the network technique resources are positively related with IDBE's competitive advantage to great extent; the network human resource and the network financial resources are positively related with IDBE's competitive advantage to middle extent; The network material resources are positively related with IDBE's competitive advantage to low extent. These empirical conclusions have more important guidance of holding strategic point and adjusting the strategic target to the business enterprise in the network activities.(4) Introducing new variable into research, we have identified systematically andproved empirically six factors of influencing the development of IDBE's network ability, which provide specific tactic for management practice in view of the strategic network.Based on the tactic orientation of strategic management, we introduce variables including "entrepreneurial orientation" and "Market orientation" on the base of previous studies and sum up six main factors which influence IDBE's network ability from three levels including business enterprise, entrepreneur and replying external environment by through of literature research, on-the-spot interviews and investigation.By analyzing empirically, we have found some main conclusions as follows: in the business enterprise level, the network orientation taken by a company's human resource management, the abundant network management resources inside, the higher integration of a company's communication structure, and the openness of its corporate culture all help to promote IDBE's network ability in statistic meaning. We have verified the applicability of the Ritter (2003a) 's empirical conclusions. Thus business enterprise can strengthen the IDBE's network ability by through of improving the above-mentioned influencing factor intentionally;In the entrepreneur level, the IDBE's network ability is positively associated with the entrepreneur orientation. Enhancing entrepreneurial orientation with the main dimension of the innovation-cooperation spirit, risk-taking ability, the proactive consciousness of strategy and aggressive impetus plays a very important role in promoting the IDBE's network ability;In the external market environment level, the market orientation is positively associated with the IDBE's network ability.In fine, The issue of the IDBE's carrying out the competitive advantage based on setting up the strategic network have been extensively regarded by the academic circles, the business enterprise field and the government sections domestic and abroad, at the same time, its analytical frame and the research method still have been developed and perfected. Be restricted to research time, condition and abilities of myself as well as the sample capacity and the analysis technique etc. in this research, the research result of the thesis maybe supposed to be elementary and have still many shortage, Moreover, the adaptabilities of a lot of research conclusion should be further verified by empirical analysis. In a word, it is very necessary of the further research and perfection.
