A Research On The Problem Of Farmers Differentiation In China

The problem of farmers , which was the basic revolutionary problem in China in the past (as the problem of peasants), is still the basic problem in the reform and development of China at present and will be the basic problem of social development of China in the future. With the further development of social economy and the deepening of market reformation, farmers in China are in a state of rapid differentiation, in which the identical commune members of the past are differentiated various groups of farmers with different features. The differentiation of farmers , which is bringing a increasingly great effect to the economy and society in the countryside, has already influenced all sides of the social life in the country. Therefore, it is of great significance to research on the problem of farmers differentiation.Based on the research fruit in the field, applying materialist dialectics, concerning the reality and checking back on the history, combining quality analysis and quantity analysis, integrating on-the-spot investigation with normative study, this dissertation systematically researches the problem of farmers differentiation by consulting documentary, carrying out on-the-spot investigation and delivering questionnaires. The dissertation studies relevant theories abroad including the three major schools of theories in modern social differentiation research as the theory of functionalism, theory of confliction and Gerhand E. Lenski's evolutionism. It also studies the three classical society differentiation theories including the class theory of Karl Marx, society lamination of Max Weber and genius theory of Vilfredo Pareto. The dissertation also summaries the relevant domestic theories including the class confliction theory represented by Mao Zedong, the rural construction school of thoughts by Liang Shuming and the eight-class doctrine of Lu Xueyi.
