Studies On The Subject Behaviors Of Small Town Development In China

As an important part of rural urbanization, small town, with its strategic position, becomes more and more prominent in our national economic development. Small town also plays important roles in the following aspects, changing the binary social structure of urban and rural areas, advancing regional economic increasing, forcing on the transfer of workforce and population from rural to urban areas. In recent years, China has gradually realized the strategic position of small towns, and the issue of developing and reforming small towns again turns out to be the focal point of theoretical research. However, comparing with the requirements of urbanization, there are still many problems existing in the development of our small towns, which focus on the industry and population gathering mechanism that are beneficial for small town are now still unformed, and small town government behaviors are with quite a few defects.Under the condition of market economy, the development of small towns, in essence, is the process of assembling the non-agricultural industry and population to urban areas based on the market principle. Enterprise, individual, and government, as the main bodies of small town development, are playing increasingly decisive functions. The study of small town problem needs full understanding and mastering the behavioral law of each main body under the market condition as well as thinking much of the existing difficulties. Then, we can seek the right road to develop small towns. By the above background, this paper takes the main bodies behaviors in small town development as the theme to be studied.Based on the full understanding of small town and its rules of development, this article also takes key elements gathering as a clue, mainly analyzing the enterprises gathering behaviors, the transfer of workforce and population, as well as the characters, rules and restrictive factors of government behaviors.
