Japan economy came into a stage of constant, high speed and stable development after the Olympic Games in1964. The year, 1968, Japan, exceeding German, became the second largest economics of the world. Developing at this speed and such outstanding economic achievement distracted full attentions on Japan economy and culture from all over the world. The Japanese style and its effectiveness in corporate management have already taken a vital role in promoting social cultural evolution. A new upsurge in doing research on Japanese entrepreneur from the angle of culture is in the making in the worldwide academe. Up to date, numerous problems, the relationship between Japan culture and economical development, are left to have some full interpretation. The inevitable problem questioned about research on Japan economy and culture, partly because that academe devoted little attention to it, which is undoubted. Based on existed theory of Japan culture, the essay, taking Inamori Kazuo's corporation practice and business philosophy for object of study, is trying to make a deep discussion on the relations between Japanese culture and economy development.Inamori Kazuo is one of the most famous entrepreneurs in Japan of present. Working on business of various fields over 40 years, he was respected as "saint of business in Heisei ". As a business man, his life had been connected to the development of Japan economy after the war. From the founding of Kyocera Company in 1959, to the success in DDI in 1993, he totally used about 30 years to manage. No one dared to share the name of Inamori Kazuo who created two first-class businesses on the earth, except Kounosuke Matsushita in era of Shiaowa after war. What is more, he has much special cultural behaviour, such as the founding of shenghe educational schools and Kyoto reward for the one who had done great dedication to culture and humankind. Researchers on Japan culture in China should do a study in depth to such a great entrepreneur, who develops a school in culture and achievement.Based on previous study, this thesis makes an analysis on corporate practice and business philosophy from the angle of history, economics, philosophy, ethics and ecology. The prologue of the essay is a retrospect of situations of Inamori Kazuo from civil and international academe. And the research method, data source, scholarship value and actual significance are also presented here. The thesis is composed of seven parts. The first chapter deals with the establishment of his business, which is operating activities. It includes three aspects: the creative management, the lowest cost management, and diversified management. As the fundamental rule to study philosophy is to progress from particulars to generalities, the paper followed suit. The second chapter concerns the Japanese features in his management practice, the culture significance in his business actives. The three aspects embody like: firstly, the application of balancing the extreme acts, which is discussed in The Chrysanthemum and the Sword, which is written by Ruth Benedict. Secondly, pragmatism of Japanese characteristics, reflecting in changing with the actual situation for the purpose of goals. Moreover, loyalty to the nation while adopting talents abroad management. Putting it easy, while the Japanese sucks in foreign cultures, it is not easy for him to abandon its culture core spirit. Inamori Kazuo is always holding a cautious attitude toward "nationalization" in his corporation Kyocera. He keeps a certain mental distance to Chinese and American culture.Consciousness oriented principle, other favored operation and co-live cycle are the three most important theories in his business philosophy. Consciousness oriented principle is a standard to adjust the relationship between manager and stuff. Other favored operation is a standard to adjust the relations between the manager and the customers, clients and suppliers. Co-live principle is a theory which includes both above, more concerns on adjusting relations on macro views, such as the relations between business and nature, the relations between company and competitor and even with the international affairs. The three concepts have an evolution from micro stage to macro stage. In this thesis, there are three chapters to illustrate all of them accordingly. In the sixth chapter, a discussion on culture origin of Inamori Kazuo's philosophy. Cultural relations are the emphases for the Chinese and Japanese scholars. Though, some of the researchers has pointed out the philosophy is the output influenced by China confusion culture. According to my analysis from his works, especially from the citation of the Chinese classical works, I can draw a conclusion that he is only partly and indirectly influenced by Chinese culture. The last chapter analyses the working style and development progress of shenghe educational school, operated by folk entrepreneur, with the theory of cultural spreading. shenghe educational school is a social organization set by some young managers in some medium size corporations. The purpose of it is to communicate experiences. It has taken an unintentional task of spreading the theory and philosophy of Inamori Kazuo for 20 years since its foundation. His cultural behaviors and entrepreneur spirit exert a subtle influence on certain social class in Japan. Its opening in U.S. is a typical event in cultural communication history.
