The cost and efficiency of ceramic logistics has not been effectively improved for a long period due to the fact that the ceramic logistics is mainly restricted to a certain manufacturing enterprise or a seperate ceramic supply chain. Under the condition of cluster supply chain of ceramic industry, however, we can effectively integrate its logistics resources, increase the operational efficiency of ceramic logistics and raise the operational efficiency, competitiveness and profits of Ceramic Industry Cluster Supply Chain (CICSC) as a whole by means of cooperation and coordination of the enterprises in the cluster supply chain.This paper study the cluster supply chain of ceramic industry operational. It attempts to explore the operation characteristics of a more complicated network supply chain by researching the CICSC. Besides, it will establish the cross-chain relation of many single supply chains in the angle of cooperation and competition in an effort to promote the supply chain operational efficiency and the rapid development of the ceramic industry cluster. It covers 6 parts as follows:1. Optimization strategies of raw material distribution network of ceramic industry cluster supply chain. In order to balance relations between distribution service quality and logistics cost of ceramic materials, this paper has established a distribution network system and two-level optimization models of the raw materials, designed a double-layer simulated annealing algorithm and made specific analysis of examples. As a result, it provided an ideal support to make a decesion for those in need to consider service quality during the design of distribution network.2. Optimization strategies of raw material configuration of CICSC. It is of great importance to study the material matching optimization of the cluster supply chain as the configuration may directly affect the purchasing and distribution plan in the ceramic industry. This paper has built a model of the configuration and optimization of ceramic body, and made analysis of examples in details.3. The raw material purchasing and distribution strategies of CICSC. This paper has worked out optimization methods of purchasing plan by analysising the material purchasing and distribution of CICSC. Based on the material purchasing requirements of multiple enterprises and products, it has adopted proporational methods such as choosing materials concentratedly, under the condition that it satisfies enterprise's requirments on the ingredients content, optimized the material purchasing plan of distribution center and the distribution plan of the material delivered to each enterprise, and thus built an optimization model of purchasing and distribution strategy of ceramic materials for the purpose of maximume profit of the distribution center.4. The mass customization operational strategies of CICSC. This paper has studied operational levels and ways of mass customization by analysising its operational characteristics of CICSC. Besides, it has put forward specific development strategies on how to build the data management platform based on mass customization of the cluster supply chain.5. Regional brand strategies of CICSC. Based on the analysis of the regional brand characteristics, this paper has studied how to integrate the ceramic cluster supply chain, how to build the regional brand, and specific methods of implementing regional brand marketing strategies in multiple ways.6. This paper has made empirical analysis with the development of CICSC in Liling as an example. It mainly includes the following four aspects:First, summary of development of the ceramic industry cluster in Liling. Second, analysis of the cluster supply chain systems for the ceramic industry in Liling. Third, market competitive advantages of CICSC in Liling. Fourth, strategies and suggestions on CICSC development in Liling.Researches made by this paper will provide useful references to accelerate the development of cluster supply chain for the ceramic industry.
