In order to reduce the consumption of energy in mining area, in view of the variety ofavailable heat source and the difference of hot and cold requirements, the thesis puts forwardand studies Multi-function Variable Conditions Heat Pump Unit(MVCHPU) and the system;this system can realize such purposes as using this unit to produce cooling ice in summer andmeanwhile to heat the bath water, to produce cold water cooling pithead in concentrated wayand meanwhile heat bath water, and to extract mine residual heat of return air in winter andmeanwhile heat the bath water. On the basis of the principle of thermodynamics, this thesissets up optimization method for the energy system of MVCHPU and make the analysis andselection on the unit and its system design and operation parameters through optimizationstudy; and monitors and analyzes further for the heat pump units and its system in the actualoperation of the mine. The research shows that the theory and method of energy systemoptimization analysis will guide the system design and the determination of operationparameters, providing the theoretical guidance for design and application of this system. Inthe actual operation MVCHPU has the features of efficiency in saving power and energy, lowconsumption, protecting environment and others, which can satisfy the needs of mine coolingand return air heat and standby units to realize multi-function purposes.
