Because rail transportation signal microcomputer interlocking system must guaranteecontinuous and stable operation, and safety control of signal, so it requires high safety andreliability of the system, otherwise, once the system is failure, the output is error controlwhich leads to upgrade display of signal, and further may lead to serious traffic accident andpersonnel and property losses. With the development of microelectronic technology,computer technology, automatic control technology, embedded technology andcommunication technology, the realization of failure-safety technology of the railway signalgets better technical supports. Full electronic computer interlocking system which is based onthe highly reliable and fault-tolerant safety computer is the direction of the development ofsignal interlocking control technology around the world.This paper takes the safety computer of full electronic computer interlocking system asthe study subject, studies system control architecture under different interlocking controlmodes, and completes actual verification of distributed trackside full electronic interlockingcontrol system, through the analysis of the architecture of full electronic computerinterlocking system. This paper has carried on the preliminary research and exploration forthe future of signal interlocking control system, which turns to distributed wayside controlfrom centralized control. It focus on safety design principle of safety computer, designs andachieves key CPU motherboard, I/F control components, system software and so on, and onthis basis, identifies a variety of hidden troubles which may exist in safety computer, andanalyzes and researches single failure and multipoint failure which impact on the safetyoperation of the system, and finally this paper puts forward concrete technical measures.This paper proposes a method of active tracking and time synchronization operation,which combine hardware synchronization controller, bus hardware controller and time pointon software, and realizes CPU synchronous operation and voting output mechanism under thearchitecture of double two out of two. By studying working state, working mode andswitching conditions of safety computer, it analyzes and tests the completeness andsynchronization methods of the working modes and the switching conditions. Via the analysisof the communication architecture and the realization mechanism of safety communication ofthe system, this paper studies defensive measures of communication under differentcommunication modes, and analyzes and calculates the safety and real-time of the systemcommunication. Finally, functional components and API interface of real-time operatingsystem VxWorks which target on kernel cutting and components optimization has beencarried out analysis on the safety influences of function failure, It proposes a kind of targetedsafety protection mechanism. Based on the research of this paper, safety computer platform is developed which can beused for the railway signal interlocking control system, and has passed the European standardsafety certification, and the safety degree of the safety computer platform has reached theSIL4. The safety computer platform has been independently developed, which can be used forurban mass transit signal computer interlocking system and the vehicle-mounted safetysystem. It provides a full range of upgrading equipments for leapfrog development of our railtransit signal, promotes the development of the railway signal control system, which isdeveloping from the second generation of electric centralized interlocking, to the thirdgeneration of computer interlocking, to the fourth generation of full electronic computerinterlocking system. Thus, it promotes the technology progress of our rail transportationsignal industry favorably.
