Japanese philosophy is featured by portability and creative integration. Theearliest Theory of Marxism was introduced into China from Japan. In modern age,Japanese philosophy especially Marxist philosophy has made great progress. Theoutstanding representative is Hiromatsu Wataru. Based on the social historybackground of moving into Europe from Asia, philosophy of Karl Marx, Enst Cassirer,Ernst Mach&Nagarjuna, philosophical method of Versachlichung, and the criticismon western philosophy represented by phenomenology of Edmund Husserl, HiromatsuWataru demonstrated the Structural theory of four limb which is about cognition ofthe world&action to the world systematically, and stepped into the progress of fromworld outlook of matter to world outlook of thing,&from noumenalism topersonalismus.The preface briefly introduces the life, works of Hiromatsu Wataru, and status ofresearch on his philosophy and research method. Structural theory of four limb is thecore of Hiromatsu Wataru’s philosophy, which based on the certain context fromFukuzawa Yukichi’s Moving into Europe from Asia to Nishida-Kyoto school’sMoving into Asia from Europe. Hiromatsu Wataru put forward the new world outlook&values of “replace the mainstream noumenalism with personalismus”, in the“Northeast Asia as the leading role of history-building up the new system which takesChina&Japan as the core” of March16th,1994’s “Asahi Shimbun”. He thinks thatfrom world outlook of matter to world outlook of thing is the tendency in the end ofthe century. The quality of world outlook of Marxist Philosophy exists in thepersonalismus. If we say Marx, Engels call the result of considering the social relationbetween men as the relation between matters Versachlichung, Hiromatsu Wataru triesto make this concept applicable to social relation, and applicable to relation of“Natural-Material”.The research on Hiromatsu Wataru’s philosophy began from the translation&introduction of Bian Chongdao&Zhang Yibing in1994. The subject of this essay isexplore on Structural theory of four limb based on the deep textological Reading of 1-2chapter of Hiromatsu Wataru’s cornerstone-Being and meaning. The researchmethod is mainly textological, which is put forward by professor Zhang Yibing.The first chapter discusses what’s entity in Aristotle&Descartes’ opinion. Howthey and Leibniz, Locke, and David Hume know entity. In the substantialism, Whattheory difficulty did Kant, Mach, Husserl, Heidegger’s subject and object dimidiatethinking mode of modern philosophy come across. How Hiromatsu Wataru looked fortheory support for his personalismus from theory source of Gestalt Psycology,Nagarjuna’s Adornment of the Middle Way, and Bradley’s so-called participator. Inthe end, the evolutionary path of Structural theory of four limb is discussed, whichdisclose the secret structure of Structural theory of four limbThe second and third chapters discuss the first roll of Being and meaning,namely Structure of four limb of learnable person learn from certain phenomenon inrecognization of world. The fourth and fifth chapter discuss the second roll of Beingand meaning, namely structure of four limb of able person’s value in certain realisticthing in practical world. The theoretical objective of Structural theory of four limb isopposite to the pursuit of entity in noumenalism. Hiromatsu Wataru utilizates a lot ofGestalt Psycology and the research results of sociology to prove that relation exists inorigin.In the conclusion part, the author put forward the question of relation betweenrelation and entity, which points out that entity thinking&relational thinking actuallyare two different aspects upgraded from abstract to concrete method. They are theindispensable mode of thinking in human. But due to the fact that abstract alwaysmeans giving up the subjectivity or a certain aspect of objectivity, noumenalism iseasily to be close to extreme subjectivity or extreme objectivity. The train of thoughtof scientism and humanism, rationalism and irrationalism in modern westernphilosophy is the result of these two extreme modes of thinking. The traditionalcognitive model-“practice-cognition”, considers practice&cognition as two differentstage. The endless connection between practice&cognition, but the endlesscontainment between practice&cognition. Differently, Hiromatsu Wataru thinks thatphenomenon&meaning-learnable&knowable, concrete&value-able&position, isnot substantial endless connection. It is the endless containment or blend of relation, afunctional structure of four limb. This new view provides a successful example forbuilding up the new shape of Marxist philosophy with distinct Chinese characteristicsin21st century.
