Corpus-based Study On The Meaning Items Distribution Of The Representative Words In Human Lower Limb Motion Semantic Field In Modern Chinese

Since the 1980s, the corpus technology has developed rapidly, which has become an important power of modern lexicography. To promote the accuracy of dictionaries, we can take advantages of the corpus and take the quantitative and the qualitative research methods. On the basis of this way, the paper studies the meaning items of five representative words, "Zou (走)", "Pao (跑)", "Tiao (跳)","Kua(跨)" and "Zhan (站)" in the human lower limb motion semantic field from a completely new perspective and it puts forward some feasible suggestions to address the definition problems.Chapter 1 as a prefaces which introduces the current research status of the extension of word meaning.Chapter 2 to Chapter 6 we successively study the five objectives. With a detailed analysis of relevant corpus, we suggest that adding five meaning items and delete one of "Zou (走)", adding nine meaning items and changing one of the definitions of "Pao (跑)", adding eight meaning items and changing one of the definitions of " Tiao (跳) ", adding three meaning items, changing one of the definitions of "Kua (跨)", adding five meaning items and delete one of "Zhan (站)"Chapter 3 draws conclusions on the interpretation of the five study objects and trise to summarize the rule of distribution.
