Korean honorific form refers to the speakers, according to the upper and lower levels, age, family, men and women, the relation between the public and the private and the state of mind when he speaks, regulate the use of grammar form. The honorific form is determined by the additional predicate behind the grammatical forms.The purpose of this thesis is to find out the changes in the morphology of Korean honorific by arranging and analyzing the issues of the conversational Korean in the documents after the liberation. This paper divided the times from liberation to the early twenty-first Century into two parts as the early liberation and after the establishment of China and South Korea diplomatic relations. According to the interpersonal relationship, age and gender, we classified the documents and materials in each period and analyzed the specific uses of honorific forms of the dialogues in different interpersonal relationships, different ages and sexes.In the first chapter, with the reference to the different opinions about the classification of honorific forms, we divided the honorific form into six grade, the (?).Then we divided the age of the speakers and the listeners into juvenile, adult, middle-aged and elderly. According to the data of gender, we divided the dialogues into male-male dialogues, male-female dialogues and female-female dialogues.The second chapter is the collation and analysis of the documents of the Korean in the early liberation. The author divided the interpersonal relationship into social relations and family relations and analyzed the honorific form of the use in various relations among the members of the dialogue with the form of graphs. For analyzing the use of honorific form during all ages, we divided the listeners’ages and made a chart of the results. In order to analyze the differences between men and women, we classified the dialogues from the part of the interpersonal dialogues as the male-male dialogues, male-female dialogues, female-female dialogues.The third chapter used the same research methods as the second chapter. We organized and analyzed the text published after the establishment of China and South Korea diplomatic relations. Compared with the early liberation, the interpersonal relationships of Korean language in this period were varied. The specific uses of the honorific form are organized into charts according to the dialogues among various social members and we calculated the frequency of use.In the fourth chapter, we compared the conversational texts between the time of the early liberation and after the establishment of China and South Korea diplomatic relations and found out the changes of honorific form. The fourth chapter uses the same research methods as the second chapter and the third chapter. We classified all the articles in the conversations according to the interpersonal relationship, the age, the gender and so on. We compared the various honorific forms and showed the results in the form of graphs.The fifth chapter is the conclusion. In the conclusion, we listed the changes of the honorific forms in the fourth chapter and tried to analyze the various reasons of the changes. In the end, we described the part of the research unconcerned in this paper and the direction and feasibility of the research.With the development of society, there have been some changes in our daily language from the early liberation to the early twenty-first Century. Especially after the establishment of China and South Korea diplomatic relations, the Korean society had a great change. By the advantages of blood, marriage, language, many Korean people went to South Korea or worked for the enterprises in South Korean. Because of the frequent contacts with South Korean, the language has been changed and the honorific forms have also been changed. This paper focused on the analysis of changes of the Korean honorific forms with the change of time and society.In summary, this thesis will become an important part of the variations of Korean language. The author hopes that the results of this study can help to organize the changes of Chinese Korean and also be helpful to the language policies.
