Colleges and universities are important components of socialism with Chinese characteristics which undertake the historical tasks of cultivating excellent builders and reliable successors of Chinese socialism, coupled with the missions of talents cultivating, science researching, social serving, as well as culture transmitting. How to persist and improve the leadership of the CCP in colleges is the prior task faced by CCP organizations and the theory researchers of colleges and universities.Presently, the research results of supervision to the CCP are mostly in the view of CCP itself, the democratic parties, society and media. Papers researched the supervision of CCP from the view of the supervision of CCP’s politic leadership are rare.This paper studied this problem in a special perspective, including the basic supervising theory, history evaluation and experience, the remaining problems, as well as the reasons of them. Furthermore, it also puts up with the resolutions to enhance the supervision of CCP in a new era.According to this paper, supervision to the CCP in colleges and universities, which can stem from the foundation of colleges and universities led by the CCP, should be listed among the leadership’s tasks. This task varies with the change of the system of our country’s colleges and universities which has special value of the times and substitutive characteristics. With the improvement of college’s leadership system, the supervision is stressed and strengthened to some degree. However, there are some problems remained. The appearance of these problems is induced by both the object reasons and subject ones, as well as structure, mechanism, and system reasons. To resolve these problems, the supervision to the CCP should be enhanced and the efficiency must be improved. Firstly, strengthening the awareness of supervision and stressing the key points. The awareness of responsibility as the main body of supervision. Should be strengthened and the awareness of accepting the supervision in the colleges and universities’ internal authority and the persons who oppose it must be enhanced. Secondly, making the border of authority clear, and improving the mechanism. This requires that colleges should define the border of their authorities and that of the supervision with scientific attitude and avoid the phenomena of "nobody in the position" or "beyond the position". Strengthening the foundation of supervising system with the building of college structure treated as the base. Thirdly, unblocking the democratic methods and accelerating the democratic supervision. Making full use of the politic advantages of the CCP, whose role should be prominent.At the same time, putting emphasis on the supervision functions of the democratic party and non-party members, in order to form a supervision structure with all-direction and all people participating.
