The Social Integration Of The New Generation Of Migrant Workers

With the development of China’s urbanization, the social integration of the new generation of migrant workers has become the focus of attention of theorists and social. This paper research the social integration of the new generation of migrant workers. Through in-depth analysis of the issue, we can have a comprehensive understanding of the status of the new generation of migrant workers in the social integration in urban, problems encountered, his or her demands, reasons of it and the institutional barriers.This paper is based on the condition of our country and learns from the experience of inside and outside the country (territory). It connects the social integration of the new generation of migrant workers and the social system innovation organics in urbanization and industrialization of our country. From economics, sociology and demography, population movements and transfer perspective, and Jurisprudence and Criminology rights protection and crime prevention perspective, through in-depth interviews and questionnaires, it is to understand the situation and problems of the social integration of the new generation of migrant workers, and to analyze the factors affecting the generation of migrant workers social inclusion deeply, and to target countermeasures and operability to further promote the social integration of the new generation of migrant worker.The focus of this paper is described from four aspects, through the questionnaire and interview.Firstly, it describes the condition and status of the social integration of the new generation of migrant workers currently, including the economic integration, the social-life integration, cultural and psychological integration. Through investigation and analysis, it is found that lack of labor rights and interests, poor working conditions, low income levels appear in the new generation of migrant workers. Their leisure in the city is rich in entertainment, and social interaction and social participation of the significantly improved. But in the cultural and psychological integration, the new generation of migrant workers identity recognition fuzzy wage cities lack a sense of belonging and a sense of responsibility.Secondly, it is described the problems of the social integration of the new generation of migrant workers, including the lack of protection of rights and interests, bad behaviors and criminal problems. Through investigation and analysis, it is found that it is lack of the protection of the rights of the new generation of migrant workers, and it is significantly different between them and urban residents on health, education and training. Because they are away from their families and lack of belonging, there are a larger percentage of bad actors in them, and some even produce criminal behaviors. The characteristics of this criminal behavior include the low level of education, and low awareness of the law. Violent crime, Offences against crime as well as two or more persons jointly implemented more. The motives for the crime mainly include mercenary, sense of obligation and so on. The crime has a certain blindness and impulsivity. This is related to the personal characteristics of the new generation of migrant workers, living environment and living conditions. Thirdly, it analyzes the factors affecting the generation of migrant workers social inclusion. It is from the system, social and human capital to explore the factors restricting social inclusion. And it analyzes personal characteristics, experience, whether to accept legal education, whether internet empirical and so on from micro perspective, in order to analyze the impact of the level of social inclusion.Fourthly, it describes the need for restricting factor in the social integration of the new generation of migrant workers, in order to promote the social integration of the new generation of migrant workers on institutional innovation, improving employment policies and training measures, strengthening social security, public services, psychological intervention and ideological guidance, strengthening legal education and so on.This paper analyzes the social integration of the new generation of migrant workers based on generation of migrant workers’rights, criminal prevention and the promotion of social inclusion perspective. It provides more targeted suggestions and theoretical guidance to promote the generation of migrant workers’social integration. But there are some inadequacies in the course of the study, including the limited scope of the investigation, the absence of the comparative analysis of the social integration of the older generation of migrant workers and the new generation. It provides the opportunity for follow-up in depth study as well.
