Since1980s China began to train high-level sports teams by means of recruitment,whose aim is to improve the athletic skills of the universities, culture sports talents withsocialist consciousness, scientific and cultural knowledge, high sports technology, participatein relevant sports competition in and outside the country, achieve good results, promoteschool sports exchanges and advance the popularization and improvement of school sports.Recent years, our investment of building high-level sports teams in colleges anduniversities has increased year by year, and at the same time better grades have been achievedand developed. A good ranking has been achieved in the world competitions and individualchampionships. However, the selection and new enrollment system of colleges anduniversities is not perfect. Though changes have been made, the system is not sufficient tomeet the needs of the development. It is imperative to reform and improve the recruitmentsystem of high-level athletes of colleges and universities.The object of the study is selected to be three types of people related to the recruitmentsystem of high-level athletes of colleges and universities. Education Equity Theory andBalanced Education Theory are chosen to be the theoretical guidance. The experience andenlightens of other countries are investigated and the systematic problem of our currentrecruitment system of high-level athletes are analyzed. Some hot issues which are paid specialattention by the society, parents and candidate are summarized through conferences,competitions, letters, interviews, surveys, field trips, etc., expecting to provide a bit ofinspiration and reference for relevant departments and crowds.The structural framework of this paper is divided into seven chapters, including theAbstract, Introduction, The oretical Basis for Extraterritorial Research, Historical Review,Situation Analysis, Empirical Research, and Conclusion. A full range of progressiveelaboration of the systematic problems of the recruitment system of high-level athletes ofcolleges and universities is achieved. The research method of literature study, interviews,questionnaires, comparative study, mathematical statistics, are used as the methodology. Itsums up that:1. Recruitment conditions of high-level athletes should be established and managed bythe colleges and universities.2. The specific tests of entrance examination for the recruitment of high-level athletesshould be managed by colleges and universities.3. The entrance examination of colleges and universities is an important guarantee fordifferent levels and diversification of high-level athlete recruitment. 4. Recruitment scale is an important guarantee for our colleges and universities to recruithigh-level athletes.5. Fairness is the premise for the improvement and reform of our recruitment system ofhigh-level athletes of colleges and universities.
