In the joint efforts of generations’ tennis coaches and athletes, great achievement has been made inChinese tennis cause. The improvement of tennis coaches’ professional quality is an important guarantee topromote Chinese tennis competitive force fully. The study on the tennis coaches’ further education is animportant basic field in the tennis training study, which is an overall and basic issue for the heighten ofChinese competitive tennis level.With the methods of literature review and survey method, the author collects materials on tenniscoaches’ further education; uses logic approaches, content analysis and other methods to sum up thedevelopment process of Chinese tennis coaches’ further education; uses data Stat. and other methods toanalyze the status quo of Chinese tennis coaches’ further education; and combined other countries’experience in tennis coaches’ further education, the author establishes Chinese tennis coaches’ furthereducation system for the healthy development of Chinese tennis cause, using multidisciplinary theoreticknowledge.The author points out that there are three historic stages in Chinese tennis coaches’ further educationprocess, which are starting period, development period and breakthrough period. The development trackhas marks and treats of times. In starting period, the introduction of life-long education and furthereducation theories affects Chinese sport coaches’ further education Coach on-the-job training system is putinto trial use in1989, which symbolizes the starting of Chinese tennis coaches’ further education. From1999, Chinese Tennis Association introduced ITF coach training system, which indicated the connotation ofChinese tennis coaches’ further education had significant change and promotion. In2010, Chinese coachtraining college was founded in Beijing, which marked tennis coach training got into systematic,organizational and normalization period. Its goal, content and body had been made breakthrough.Through the investigation, the author finds the main problems in Chinese tennis coaches’ furthereducation at present. Hierarchical tennis training system is imperfect, lacking gradation. Regionaldifference is significant, lacking resource integration. Policy-making is divorced from practice. Coursecontents can not satisfy actual needs. Basic unit sport school and professional tennis club can not beintegrated into further education system. The causes of these problems include following situations. Firstly corresponding policies are not set according to the practical situation in different region. Secondly,corresponding policies are not set according to the actual situation of sport item. There are deviantbehaviors in policy-setting and policy implementation. Much attention should be paid to the deepening andcohesion of tennis coach further education.The author compares and analyzes three sport coach further education systems in different types ofcountries, including Australian government-led model, USA social organization-led model, government andsocial organization joint administration in UK and German. The author thinks that these sport coach’further education experience brings us following revelations. Tennis coach further education should laystress on government-led function and social organization’ subjective function. The system of tennisprofessional qualifications should be perfected. The content of tennis coach further education should beenriched and the practice should be paid more attention to. The way of implementation should be diverseand varied. The system of evaluation and security should be established.The author establishes Chinese tennis coaches’ further education system using system engineeringtheories and thinks it has four characteristics, integrality, correlation, hierarchy and ordering. Unified valueideas including people first, government responsibility and fairness should be established. Systemestablishment should accord with country situation and principle of open and fair. During the establishmentof tennis coaches’ further education, the knowledge structure and ability structure should be perfected, thethinking way and study method of tennis coach should be improved, the ability to analyze and solveproblems should be heightened, the training way and method of tennis coach should be improved, theability of organization and administration should be cultivated, and the competition thought of tenniscoaches should be cultivated and aggressive and all-cooperation spirit aim should be taken.In study the author adopts a special system model structure which is composed of administrativedecision sub-system, operational implementation sub-system and supporting and guarantee sub-system.The elements to construct these three sub-systems includes nine secondary sub-system, which are strategicdecision, administration decision, operation strategy, course training, training system, qualificationauthentication, economic supporting, organization guarantee and organization construction. Thesesub-systems which contact, interact and influent each other, are composed of Chinese tenniscoaches’further education system.
